# Is Responsive worth it for proposal teams managing high volumes of RFPs and security questionnaires?

Hey G2, I've been weighing whether Responsive is worth it for proposal teams handling high volumes of RFPs and security questionnaires in the RFP category. For high-volume teams, it usually is, because that is its core: a managed content library treated as the source of record, AI answer generation, and the ability to run many RFPs, security questionnaires, and DDQs in parallel, with a Salesforce integration that suits software companies.

The trade-offs are worth naming. Reviewers point to a complex Excel import for certain questionnaire formats and a real learning curve to configure and scale it across a team. If your volume is high and you will invest in setting up the library properly, it earns its place; if you only field the occasional RFP, a lighter tool may cover it with less overhead.

Honestly for high-volume RFPs and security questionnaires specifically, Responsive (formerly RFPIO) is close to the default answer, it's the category leader and built exactly for this, with a managed content library, AI that drafts answers from your approved content, and strong security-questionnaire handling. For a team drowning in volume, that content library plus AI first-pass is where the time savings come from. The honest caveats: it's an enterprise-priced tool, and the content library only pays off if someone owns keeping it current, so budget for that maintenance. Loopio is the other heavyweight worth comparing if you want a similar content-plus-AI approach. So worth it? For genuinely high volume, usually yes. For occasional RFPs, it might be more than you need. How many RFPs and questionnaires are you handling a month?
