"Easy Dashboard for Keyword Tracking, Competitor Research, and Site Audits"
5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

SE ranking the most easiest and fastest dashboard. All I ever use it for is keyword tracking, competitor research and site audits. Reports are unambiguous, and its pricing makes it useful addition to my everyday SEO process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

One thing I find slightly inconvenient is that some reports take a few extra clicks to get the exact data I need. I also feel the pricing could be more flexible for users who only need a few core features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SE Ranking made SEO tracking and technical follow-up much easier to manage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

Rank Tracker is useful for the obvious part—checking positions by location and device—but the real value for us comes from putting those movements into context. Once we started comparing rankings with Share of Voice, we realized some of our secondary terms were improving while two competitors were gaining visibility on the searches that actually carried more demand. Since then, I don’t report SEO progress as “we moved up 18 positions” and stop there. Instead, I look at overall visibility, competing domains, landing pages, and whether the movement is happening on queries that matter commercially. Competitive Research, Keyword Research, and Website Audit are the parts I use most to support that workflow. Competitive Research helps us understand which pages and terms are driving a competitor’s growth. Keyword Research gives us another pass on intent and demand before we turn an idea into content. Website Audit adds the technical layer—redirects, indexing, internal links, metadata, Core Web Vitals, and other issues that can quietly undermine the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

Competitive data still needs to be treated as directional, not as privileged access to someone else’s analytics. I trust it for spotting patterns, tracking relative movement, and discovering opportunities, but I wouldn’t present an external traffic or keyword estimate as if it came straight from a competitor’s GA4 account. For our own performance, Search Console, GA4, conversions, and revenue are still the source of truth. SE Ranking works best for us when it helps explain what might be changing around us, rather than when we act like every estimate is an exact number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A practical way to bring AEO data into our existing search workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

Working across large e-commerce properties means that search data needs to be accessible, repeatable, and easy to incorporate into existing processes. We started looking at SE Ranking's MCP Integration because we wanted to make AI search data easier to work with alongside the SEO and SEA information we already monitor.

The biggest advantage for us has been the ability to query live AEO data through an MCP connection rather than treating AI visibility as a separate manual research task. This made it easier to investigate questions around Fnac and Darty, pull current visibility information, and bring the findings into our existing analysis.

We also experimented with AI monitoring agents and automated reporting. Instead of manually repeating the same checks, we could structure recurring monitoring around important prompts and turn the resulting data into reports for internal reviews. That reduced some of the repetitive work involved in keeping track of changes in AI-generated search.

The ability to create custom dashboards was another useful part of the workflow because different stakeholders need different levels of detail. Search specialists can look at the underlying metrics, while project and management teams can work from a more concise overview. The value is good for what we pay, particularly because SE Ranking brings several SEO and AEO capabilities into one platform. Having access to search performance data, competitor insights, and AI visibility monitoring reduces the need for multiple separate tools and makes our reporting process more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The MCP integration is useful, but I'd like more preconfigured workflows for common e-commerce and search scenarios. Better documentation around advanced automation would also make it easier for teams to get from the initial integration to more sophisticated monitoring.

For a multi-brand environment, additional ways to segment data by domain, market, product category, and search type would be particularly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear AI Visibility Insights with Website Link Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

What stood out to us was the ability to look beyond a simple brand mention and understand whether an AI-generated response actually creates a pathway back to our website.

We used Website Link Tracking to monitor AI-generated answers around our brands, products, and relevant beverage topics. The linked-versus-unlinked distinction was particularly useful because a mention on its own doesn't necessarily tell us whether someone can continue their research directly through our owned channels.

We could review where AI engines included a link to our website and compare those instances with mentions where no link was provided. This gave us another perspective on the quality of our AI visibility and helped our marketing team understand how our owned content was being surfaced in AI-generated experiences.

I also like that the data can be considered alongside our existing search and content analysis rather than treated as a completely separate measurement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

I'd like more context around individual links, particularly the page being referenced and the topic that triggered the citation. More detailed segmentation by brand, product category, market, and AI platform would also make the feature more useful for managing a portfolio of brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nuanced AI Visibility Insights with Website Link Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

As a specialist advisory firm, our digital presence needs to communicate credibility and expertise to a very specific audience. With more people using AI assistants to research financial services and advisory firms, we wanted to understand not only whether THALIA was being mentioned, but whether those AI-generated conversations were actually providing a path back to our website.

We found Website Link Tracking particularly useful for this. It allows us to distinguish between situations where an AI engine mentions THALIA and those where it actually includes a link to our website.

That distinction is important for us. A brand mention can indicate that an AI platform recognizes the firm, but a linked mention provides a much clearer indication that the platform is directing users toward our own digital presence. We monitor relevant prompts around debt advisory, financing solutions, family offices, private capital, and related topics to see where our website is being surfaced.

Being able to compare linked versus unlinked mentions has given us a more nuanced view of our AI visibility. It also helps us identify topics where our brand is being recognized but where there isn't necessarily a direct path for users to explore our services further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The link tracking is useful, although we'd like more detail around the context of each linked mention and additional filtering by market and AI platform. For a specialist financial-services firm, being able to segment results by topic and audience would make the analysis even more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful for understanding exactly how AI platforms describe our brand"
5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

As a large omnichannel retailer, we already have established ways of monitoring search performance, competitors, and customer behavior. What we were missing was a reliable way to understand what AI platforms actually say when customers ask questions related to our products, services, and competitors.

That's where AI Response Monitoring has been particularly useful. We created a set of prompts around electronics, appliances, product recommendations, pricing, customer service, and other topics relevant to our retail business. Instead of simply recording whether Darty appeared, we could review the actual text generated by AI engines in response to those questions.

This gave us much more context than a simple visibility score. We could see how Darty was positioned within the response, what aspects of our offering were being emphasized, and how competitors were being described in the same conversation.

The ability to compare responses over time is another feature we found valuable. AI-generated answers can change, so looking at individual responses isn't enough. By monitoring the same prompts repeatedly, we could identify changes in how our brand was represented and use those observations as an additional input for our content and digital strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The response monitoring is useful, but we'd like more advanced ways to organize large prompt sets, particularly by product category, customer intent, and market. More detailed comparisons between AI platforms would also make it easier to understand differences in how individual engines present the same brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful insight into which sources influence AI-generated answers"
5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

It's no longer enough to know where our pages rank in traditional search; we also want to understand which sources AI platforms consider relevant when answering questions related to fashion, interiors, lifestyle, and retail.

We've found AI Citation Analysis particularly useful for this. We use it to examine the websites and sources that AI models cite when responding to relevant prompts. This gives us a different perspective on content authority and helps us understand what types of external sources are influencing the answers customers may see.

For example, when researching topics related to fashion or home and lifestyle, we can look at which publishers, retailers, and other websites are consistently being referenced. We then use those findings as an additional input when reviewing our own content and identifying opportunities to strengthen our visibility and authority.

I also like that the feature helps move the conversation away from simply asking "Are we appearing?" toward "Which sources are influencing the answer, and what can we learn from them?" That distinction has been useful when planning content and evaluating topics where we want Sissy-Boy to have stronger visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The citation analysis is useful, but I'd like more ways to categorize and filter citation sources by topic, market, and type of publication. More historical comparison would also make it easier to determine whether changes in our content strategy are influencing our presence in AI-generated answers. "Strong competitive insights for understanding our visibility in AI search"
5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

As a performance-focused team, we wanted to understand how our brand was performing in the emerging AI search environment and, more importantly, how that performance compared with the retailers competing for the same customers.

The feature we've found most useful is Competitor AEO Research. We use it to benchmark Dille & Kamille against relevant competitors across AI-generated search results, looking at brand mentions, AI citations, AI-generated links, frequency of appearance, and historical performance.

What makes this particularly useful is that it moves the analysis beyond simply asking whether our brand appears in AI responses. We can see which competitors are appearing alongside us, how frequently they are being referenced, and which sources are contributing to their visibility. This gives us a much clearer picture of the competitive landscape.

We use the findings when reviewing our performance and planning content priorities. For example, if competitors consistently appear for questions around home, kitchen, garden, or lifestyle products where our visibility is weaker, we can investigate what type of content and sources are contributing to their presence and use that information when deciding where to focus our efforts.

The historical performance component is also important. AI search results can change frequently, so having the ability to compare performance over time makes the analysis much more useful than conducting occasional manual checks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The competitor research provides a good amount of information, but I'd like even more flexibility when selecting competitors and segmenting results by product category, market, and search intent. More granular reporting would make it easier to analyze individual areas of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful for understanding where our brand appears in AI-driven product discovery"
5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

As a product-focused e-commerce organization, we wanted to understand how AI assistants are changing the way customers discover retailers and products. Traditional search analytics give us a strong view of rankings and customer behavior, but they don’t show how often an AI assistant brings our brand into a recommendation or comparison.

We used Brand Mention Tracking to get a more structured view of this. We built prompts around electronics, consumer technology, product comparisons, and shopping-related questions, and then monitored which queries resulted in Coolblue being mentioned in AI-generated responses.

That prompt-level visibility was especially valuable. Rather than simply knowing our brand was showing up, we could see which kinds of customer questions actually triggered a Coolblue mention. It helped us pinpoint the topics and product-related conversations where our brand was naturally being surfaced, as well as where competitors were appearing instead.

We also found it helpful for linking product and marketing discussions. When certain categories or customer questions consistently produced strong brand visibility, we could bring those insights into conversations about content, product information, and the overall digital customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The feature is useful, but additional categorization of prompts by product category, customer intent, and market would make it even more valuable for a large e-commerce organization. More granular reporting across individual AI platforms would also help us understand differences between answer engines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear Visibility into How GLOBUS Appears in AI Conversations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SE Ranking?

As a premium retailer, maintaining a strong and consistent brand presence across digital channels is an important part of our overall customer strategy. As AI assistants have become another way customers research brands, products, and shopping recommendations, we wanted better visibility into how GLOBUS was being represented in those conversations.

We found Brand Mention Tracking particularly useful because it gave us a structured way to monitor when GLOBUS appeared in AI-generated responses and understand the types of questions that triggered those mentions.

We created prompts around areas relevant to our business, including premium retail, luxury shopping, fashion, beauty, home, and product recommendations. Rather than relying on occasional manual searches, we could monitor these queries consistently and see where our brand was appearing alongside other retailers.

The prompt-level insight was especially useful. It helped us distinguish between situations where customers specifically searched for GLOBUS and broader questions where AI platforms independently recommended or referenced the brand. That distinction gave our marketing team a better understanding of how our digital presence was being interpreted outside traditional search results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SE Ranking?

The Brand Mention Tracking functionality is useful, although additional options for segmenting results by market, language, and individual AI platform would make it even more valuable for an international retail organization.

I'd also like more executive-level reporting options that summarize changes in brand visibility without requiring teams to review individual prompts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
