We use them to collect all of our student forms not on our regular SIS. We started with them for ease of uploading information and have continued with them for a number of years. The SSO is also one of the integrative features that we find extremely helpful. **What do you dislike about SchoolDoc?** As with every piece of software, there are times when we have unique needs that may not be able to be accustomed, but they try and make it work. **What problems is SchoolDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Collecting all of the school required waivers, health information, and other random forms we need. ### 2. Eliminate paperwork! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Amanda K. | Technology & Assessment Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022 **What do you like best about SchoolDoc?** What I love about SchoolDoc: *all back to school paperwork is now paperless *we save tons of time tracking completion of paperwork because it is done automatically *we can quickly and easily find important details about a student in just a couple clicks rather than sorting through tons of forms *Send Message feature serves as a backup communication system when our primary mode is down *ability to tag students to build various groups/lists to share out to appropriate teachers/staff **What do you dislike about SchoolDoc?** I wish there was a way to Search by Teacher Name and Search by Parent Name. I know there is a way to filter down to the class level with the way we have the students tagged, but I do wish from the main page that I could just type in a teacher name at the top, and it would automatically filter down to the class level. Also, adding a Search for Parent would make it easier to identify which student the parent is connected to in those times that an email or message comes through with very little info or when parents come in to sign their child out, etc. It would also be amazing if this program could sync up with a couple of our other platforms (ClassLink and Bloomz). **Recommendations to others considering SchoolDoc:** SchoolDoc has been a huge timesaver for us and I highly recommend it. Their pricing structure has changed recently, so just beware of that. All in all, if you have the budget for it, you won't regret the purchase! **What problems is SchoolDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** I listed several benefits and solutions in my response to the first question! We have drastically reduced the amount of paper we are using. SchoolDoc saves us so much time at Back to School season because it eliminates the need to make copies of back to school paperwork to send home. It tracks the form completion and sends reminders to parents for us. It sorts the paperwork for us. It actually gives us the ability to collect the information before the students even arrive on campus because it is sent via email. So we are able to have all student information accessible from the first day of school. It used to take at least a week to get everything organized. I would have liked to have more in service training available upon start up and moving forward as changes occur. **Recommendations to others considering SchoolDoc:** Take advantage of Help functions as you learn how to use the software. Reach out for support as needed. **What problems is SchoolDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our Tech Dept handles the more complex issues with problems as they come up. I appreciate how my inquiries are posted so that any member of their team and pick it up and reply to. **What do you dislike about SchoolDoc?** I WISH I had the capability to add on extra courses or amend them myself as we're always tweaking things on our side rather than going back and forth with a spreadsheet for SchoolDoc to mass bulk upload.
