## SchoolCity Reviews
  ### 1. Assessment & SIS tool for a standard based K-12 education

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jagadeesh M. | Lead Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2019

**What do you like best about SchoolCity?**

The UI and the fully configurable dashboard and the huge set of the item bank available for the school/proctors to make use in creating the assessments. Various reports will help gauge in multiple scales and visually appealing reports.

**What do you dislike about SchoolCity?**

The suite lacks full-fledged support for the parent module to get complete access to the ward details along with the day-to-day activities.

**What problems is SchoolCity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SchoolCity helps a complete school assessment activity right from picking the items to add them to the assessments or create our own items based on the K-12 standards.
The possibility of proctoring an online assessment with full control, assess the test accordingly and then provide multiple grade books along with the complete analysis and comparative reports.
One benefit we realized is the possibility of exactly finding out to a standard level where the student need some more training.

  ### 2. Little bang for your buck

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2019

**What do you like best about SchoolCity?**

SchoolCity is nice for administering tests to large groups of students at one time.

**What do you dislike about SchoolCity?**

SchoolCity does not have a large free question or text bank for ELA subject area studies and standards. The free passages are easy to overuse and bore students.

**Recommendations to others considering SchoolCity:**

If you purchase this, please also purchase the expansion testing question banks. It makes teachers’ lives easier.

**What problems is SchoolCity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits of SchoolCity include the data analysis—teachers can see how students score on different state standards and can (hopefully) create targeted interventions and re-test to measure student growth.
