It would take me about half a day if there are may parameters I need to cut and analyze. Not to mention the high likelihood of human error (since the task is very tedious and repetitive, there is a risk of re-running the wrong data) **What problems is Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** For survey, maxdiff question design generation and the analysis of maxdiff data ### 2. Not only it is easy and fast to create maxdiffs and conjoints, we are also able to do in-depth analysis using Lighthouse. **What do you dislike about Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio?** One thing I dislike is how you write IF conditions in Sawtooth. Usually, the standard way of using IF condition is that whatever logic inside IF evaluates to true then ask the follow-up question(s). In Lighthouse, it is the other way around. If the IF condition evaluates to True then you need to skip. So always we need to write a negative condtion to make sure we ask follow-up questions in Sawtooth surveys. One more thing is that there is no feature to send emails from Sawtooth Lighthouse. **What problems is Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like I mentioned in what I like in about Sawtooth Lighthouse. It is also not limited to this. It has excellent other capabilities like quotas, conditions, complex scripts, etc.. **What do you dislike about Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio?** The Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio is mostly an offline tool. So any updates to the software need to be installed. I find this cumbersome to install a new version each time there are updates to this software. Also, any newer version of the software doesn't directly support any projects created from older versions of software, there is a conversion process that you need to do each time. **What problems is Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly the Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio is primarily solving the complex research needs of maxdiffs and conjoints. ### 5. It's extremely powerful yet customizable. There's a lot of things you can do with Lighthouse Studio with MaxDiff, such as looping and relevant items, that you can't do with other MaxDiff software. **What do you dislike about Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio?** There can be a lot of windows and clicks, which can sometimes get slightly annoying. The fact that it only runs on windows is a bit of a bummer, but when you buy a suite, you get their web-based product as well. **What problems is Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm using it as a product manager to find out which items in our priority list are really a priority by running those items through a MaxDiff. It really helps my executive team, and it takes the bias out of the conversation. ### 6. It integrates well with our survey software. It's not difficult to learn, but it always seems intimidating on the first try when I teach someone new. I would suggest some UI improvements. I've also used other software by sawtooth like their MaxDiff designer.
