Pretty much straightforward to use for Maxdiff design generation and the analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tedious, if I need to do multiple Maxdiff analysis cuts (by different demographic variable), I have to re-run the analysis multiple times. It would take me about half a day if there are may parameters I need to cut and analyze. Not to mention the high likelihood of human error (since the task is very tedious and repetitive, there is a risk of re-running the wrong data) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sawtooth is simply the best solution for Conjoint / MaxDiff. It is fully customizable and offers everything you could ever want. Can't recommend it enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a powerfull tool for maxdiffs and conjoints. Not only it is easy and fast to create maxdiffs and conjoints, we are also able to do in-depth analysis using Lighthouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I dislike is how you write IF conditions in Sawtooth. Usually, the standard way of using IF condition is that whatever logic inside IF evaluates to true then ask the follow-up question(s). In Lighthouse, it is the other way around. If the IF condition evaluates to True then you need to skip. So always we need to write a negative condtion to make sure we ask follow-up questions in Sawtooth surveys.

One more thing is that there is no feature to send emails from Sawtooth Lighthouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio is an excellent tool for maxdiffs and conjoint studies. It is also not limited to this. It has excellent other capabilities like quotas, conditions, complex scripts, etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Sawtooth Software Lighthouse Studio is mostly an offline tool. So any updates to the software need to be installed. I find this cumbersome to install a new version each time there are updates to this software. Also, any newer version of the software doesn't directly support any projects created from older versions of software, there is a conversion process that you need to do each time. I mostly use it for the MaxDiff feature, which is by far the best in the business. It's extremely powerful yet customizable. There's a lot of things you can do with Lighthouse Studio with MaxDiff, such as looping and relevant items, that you can't do with other MaxDiff software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There can be a lot of windows and clicks, which can sometimes get slightly annoying. The fact that it only runs on windows is a bit of a bummer, but when you buy a suite, you get their web-based product as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful tool it provided was the fact that it was so straight forward and easy to use. Customer service did a good job at supporting and answering any questions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that I didn't like was that it took some training and getting used to in order to really take advantage of the program in its entirety and was not as self explanatory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The analysis platform. It was easy to use and very intuitive. It did not require too much time to learn and was pretty straightforward making it easy to implement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pulling out data requires looking through and really understanding the buttons - it's not easy to know what the data pulls mean and respresent. UI is also very old looking Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
