"Deep, Scalable Sales Compensation Management with Strong Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Performance Management?

What I like best about SAP Sales Performance Management is the depth of the platform and how much of the sales compensation and performance process can be managed in one place.

From a UI/UX standpoint, there is a lot of information available, but once you understand the workflow, it becomes much easier to navigate. I especially like being able to see performance, compensation-related information, goals, and reporting without having to jump between several different systems. For managers and sales reps, having that level of visibility makes it much easier to understand where you stand and what is driving the numbers.

The integrations are another major strength. SAP SPM fits well into a broader sales and business technology stack, which is important when performance data is coming from CRM, finance, HR, or other systems. Having those systems connected reduces manual work and creates a more reliable source of truth.

Performance and scalability are also strong. The platform can handle a significant amount of data and more complicated compensation structures without requiring everything to be managed manually in spreadsheets. That becomes especially valuable as an organization grows.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, the value comes from reducing admin Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management?

The main downside of SAP Sales Performance Management is that the platform can feel complex at first. The UI/UX has a lot of functionality packed into it, so certain areas are not always as intuitive or modern-feeling as they could be, especially for new users.

Integrations are powerful, but depending on the systems involved, setup and maintenance can require more technical involvement than expected.

Performance is generally strong, although with larger data sets or more complex reporting there can occasionally be some slower load times.

Pricing can also be harder to justify for smaller organizations. The ROI makes more sense when you have a larger sales organization, complicated compensation plans, or significant administrative work to automate.

Support and onboarding are important because there is a noticeable learning curve. More guided onboarding and easier self-service resources would improve the experience.

The AI and intelligence capabilities are promising, but I would like to see them become more embedded into the everyday workflow, with more proactive insights and recommendations rather than mainly relying on users to dig into the data themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralizes Incentive Management with Robust Visibility"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Performance Management?

I really like how SAP Sales Performance Management centralizes sales compensation management on a single platform. The flexibility it offers in handling complex structures is also a big plus for me. Another great feature is its ability to align sales incentives with business objectives, which helps keep everything on track. The visibility it provides to both sales representatives and management is highly beneficial. Plus, the initial setup went smoothly, which was a relief. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management?

I find the configuration and administration aspects of SAP Sales Performance Management could be improved. It feels like reporting customization isn't as flexible as I'd like, which limits how I can present data. Also, navigating some administrative functions is cumbersome, as certain tasks require multiple steps to complete. It would be great if the user experience in these areas were smoother. "A Structured Framework for Aligning Sales Strategy with Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Performance Management?

What I like most about SAP Sales Performance Management is how it links sales strategy to measurable performance. It gives organizations a more structured, transparent way to manage incentives, commissions, goals, and overall sales performance, so expectations and results are easier to track and align. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management?

One thing I dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management is that, like many enterprise platforms, it can become quite complex when you have highly customized compensation structures, numerous business rules, or integrations across different systems.

For users who are new to the platform, that level of complexity can translate into a real learning curve. Still, I see it more as an opportunity than a major drawback: with a solid implementation, clear documentation, proper training, and responsive customer support, the complexity can be handled effectively. "Boosted Forecast Accuracy and Team Alignment"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Performance Management?

I really like the transparency and accuracy that SAP Sales Performance Management provides. It has eliminated the typical back and forth and scrutiny during alignment meetings, allowing my manager to see exactly how my pipeline is constructed and keeps our conversations focused on strategy and closing deals rather than defending data points. The software's sheer accuracy in forecasting has been impactful, removing the guesswork and manual data manipulation I used to deal with. I also found the initial setup to be quite easy, thanks to the comprehensive documentation on the SAP portal, which made the entire experience seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management?

While efficiency is great, I believe the graphs and prediction aspects could be improved. It would be helpful if they provided more detailed data points along with the reports and graphs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Visibility and ROI Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Performance Management?

I like how SAP Sales Performance Management lets us track different metrics easily. We can see where our sales are coming from, which carriers are performing best, and track how many policies we write or lose each month. It helps us focus our marketing efforts better by showing us the ROI of different campaigns so we don't waste money on leads that aren't beneficial. Plus, everyone on the team can see the same metrics, which helps in understanding our successes and failures clearly. Setting it up was very easy for us since we've used it in other businesses, and we were up and going in just two days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management?

I think if we had a bigger team, it might be more valuable cost-wise, but there's nothing that doesn't really work well for us. I've had a lot of experience with it, and we've got it running really well. Maybe better pricing for smaller businesses would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I also find it useful that all my data is kept in one place, allowing for a cohesive view from a single dashboard. Additionally, the digital marketplace is a great feature because it allows for peer-to-peer viewing, so my colleagues and I can have the same perspective.
