SAP Data Management is one of the most efficient software available today. It helps you to store data, extract data, approve purchase orders and allows you to perform a number of other tasks. It has visibility with respect to the management level and hence, not everyone can view everything which makes it even more better. For functions you use daily in SAP, you can bookmark them making it easy to access. There are various filters available that help you to give the exact data you want, improving speed and efficiency of the system. SAP also has an easy downloadable excel format which comes handy if the data has to be analysed. Entering data on to SAP is also very easy. The Business Intelligence associated with SAP is a boon. The major part of SAP that I dislike it if the data that has to be extracted is large, and it is taking a lot of time while you minimize SAP and do something else, SAP disconnects you from the server and logs you out of the system. This causes a wastage of time in waiting plus you need to start the process again. Another disadvantage of SAP is that it has a lot of options. SAP Data Management is reliable software which is a single gateway to all the data. Uploading data into the system and extracting data back for analysis is easy once you are familiar with the system. There are various filters which help you to filter exactly the type of data you want which is a plus. As far as the processing speed is concerned, uploading data is fast and downloading data with the right filters can be quick. One good function to the SAP is the Favorites which helps you to add sections of work which you use more frequently. Another good thing about SAP is that it has various level of access which helps to keep data segregated on the management level and also has various approval requests. For a beginner, SAP might be complicated with so many functions available. Where downloading data can be quick, downloading large number of data can take up a lot of processing and might not give you the result after a long wait. If you are waiting on your data for a long time and start some other task minimizing SAP, it will log you out of the server after a certain period of time which can be frustrating. Even after I contact the gentleman that was suppose to help with the steps on how to use the portal. Older UI. Certainly needs an overhaul to the UI
