"Unified Analytics and Planning Powerhouse with Seamless SAP Integration"
What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an all-in-one cloud platform that unifies business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics. Its biggest advantage is allowing users to analyze, plan, and forecast within a single solution. SAC integrates seamlessly with SAP systems like S/4HANA and BW/4HANA, enabling real-time data access without duplication. It offers smart, AI-driven features such as Smart Insights and Predictive Forecasting, helping users uncover trends and make data-driven decisions easily. The platform provides modern, interactive visualizations for impactful storytelling and supports collaborative planning, allowing teams to work together on budgets and forecasts. With enterprise-grade security and governance, SAC ensures data protection and compliance. Overall, SAC’s greatest strength is its unified, intelligent, and collaborative approach to analytics and planning in one integrated cloud environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a strong platform, but it has some drawbacks. Performance can be slow with large or complex data models, especially during real-time analysis. Customization options for charts and dashboards are somewhat limited compared to tools like Power BI or Tableau. The setup process and data modeling can be complex, creating a steep learning curve for new users. Additionally, SAC’s licensing and subscription costs are relatively high, making it less accessible for smaller organizations. While SAC integrates well with SAP systems, some advanced features—such as predictive analytics, offline functionality, and non-SAP data integration—are still less mature. Overall, SAC’s power and integration depth come with trade-offs in usability, speed, and cost, particularly for organizations seeking flexibility and ease of customization.
