"Sandboxie: A Powerful Tool for Secure Application Development and Testing"
What do you like best about Sandboxie?

Application Isolation: Sandboxie creates a virtual environment for applications, ensuring that any changes made within the sandbox do not affect the underlying system. This isolation prevents malware infections, system crashes, and conflicts between different applications.

Secure Web Browsing: With Sandboxie, users can launch web browsers within the sandbox, offering protection against malicious websites, drive-by downloads, and other online threats. Any malware or suspicious activity that occurs while browsing remains contained within the sandbox, safeguarding the host system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sandboxie?

Limited OS Compatibility: Historically, Sandboxie has primarily been compatible with Windows operating systems, limiting its usefulness for users on macOS or Linux platforms. It's important to note that as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Sandboxie did not officially support these alternative platforms.

Learning Curve: While Sandboxie's interface is user-friendly, understanding the nuances of sandbox configuration and managing specific settings may require some initial learning. This learning curve can be challenging for novice users or those unfamiliar with sandboxing concepts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keep Local Machine Safe"
What do you like best about Sandboxie?

Great for downloading or running software without affecting the local machine. Lighter and easier to navigate relative to a virtual machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sandboxie?

It seems there are some optimization issues when trying to run Chromium-based browsers. Some software also cannot be both downloaded and run in the sandbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sandboxie, program to have multiple accounts or a second instance open."
What do you like best about Sandboxie?

Sandboxie is for me one of the software I use most in my work area because with it I can open a second application of the existing one, it allows for "multi-accounting" when required, basically it allows having a dual of each application. I use it for work purposes as it allows me to run the same program twice with different data, making them completely independent from each other without confusing the data. Additionally, with it, I check the speed of the system in question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sandboxie?

I have no complaints about this software except for a few things: if we have many tabs open or we open a third instance of the same application, it will hang, freeze, and bug out in the process. It is necessary to only run what we need and not have others open. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sandboxie, the application that allows you to open multiple instances of the same application."
What do you like best about Sandboxie?

Sandboxie is for me one of the applications I use the most, it allows me to open another instance of the same application, I can have two accounts, or rather, two software open at the same time without interfering with the data of one and the other. I use it several times a day within my work area, and I also use it personally since I have certain accounts in video games for which it is very useful to have it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sandboxie?

The only bad thing about Sandboxie is that it lacks a menu that tells me how many windows I have open at the same time. It also only allows two instances to be open; a third would cause tremendous lag and even make the application close without warning. I think it could be improved in this aspect. "Mitigate the risk of harming your pc"
What do you like best about Sandboxie?

The idea of sandboxie is simple. Use a harmful or experimental (beta) software in a controlled environment so that it can't harm your pc and it exactly does what it says without any flaw. It helps you betat test the software you are not sure of and there is a slight chance of any malware like trojan attack. It keeps you away from the thinking of getting harmed by any unwanted malware or else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sandboxie?

The interface can be a bit complex and challenging who are not pc geek. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
