"Easy to use and effective, with powerful dashboards and AI limits"
5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like the ease of use and effectiveness of Safetica, and that it has a low learning curve. The initial setup was very simple and was one of the reasons for choosing the solution. The discovery module is extremely valuable to me for locating where sensitive data is and building a RAT. Its ease of use also allows me to constantly monitor the dashboards without spending more time learning to extract valuable information that I urgently need. I value the number of views and options of the dashboards, especially the overview views, filters, grouping option, and specific searches. Safetica also prevents the exfiltration of sensitive data to different destinations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

I lack the ability to review Gemini prompts. I also need the checks for Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot that are already enabled to work in browsers other than Edge and Chrome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete and easy-to-use DLP with simplified reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like the practicality and ease of use of Safetica. The tool is very comprehensive and easy to handle. The AI for data classification helps me a lot to understand what types of data exist in my company. Safetica also helps me reduce the risk of leaks, identify the misuse of sensitive information, and control how this data is shared inside and outside the company. The initial setup was generally easy; at first, there was a lot to learn, but then it was okay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

The solution works well, but I think Safetica could make policy configuration easier, make reports more intuitive, and simplify DLP event analysis. I would also like to have a chatbot within the tool to ask about user events and get answers faster without having to search the logs. At first, there was a lot to learn, but then everything was fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and effective protection, although compatibility may take time"
5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like how simple the console is and how easy it is to use Safetica on devices. I can apply policies simply and limit access to prevent information leaks. I have no performance issues, and policies can be applied in seconds to protect my information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

I had a bit of trouble with the initial setup. We left Safetica running for about 15 days to gather information with the audit documents; after that, the setup was much easier. Also, when working with tools like SIEM or Office, we had to wait for new versions to be compatible and protect the entire corporate environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective DLP with Dashboard Insights, Needs Better Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like Safetica's dashboard a lot because it gives a clear and simple view of all data activity across all endpoints in real time. The reporting features are very good as well, allowing us to extract all the required data for management and compliance review easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

I think the biggest area of improvement is support. I find the response times are slow, and getting a resolution takes longer than I expect. Overall, the product is fine, but the support experience needs significant improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"complete DLP tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I have found the monitoring of data circulating both at the endpoints and on other devices very useful, and the reports it offers are very comprehensive. Additionally, the ease of use and implementation in the cloud or on-premise is simple. Finally, they are always constantly updating and improving the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

Sometimes, some version updates are not implemented correctly on the endpoints, which forces these changes to be made manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Opinion on Safetica: the good, the bad, and what really matters"
4/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

What I like most about Safetica is that it truly manages to protect information without becoming a headache. There are many security tools that promise to control everything, but they end up being complex or affecting the performance of the equipment. With Safetica, my experience has been much smoother.

One of the things I value most is its ability to detect and block leaks of sensitive data. If someone tries to send confidential information—such as ID numbers, phone numbers, or client documents—outside the company, the system detects it and can block it or alert the administrator. All this without the need to manually check what each user is doing.

I also really like the clarity of the reports and alerts. Safetica doesn't just show technical logs, but translates that information into something understandable, ideal for presenting to an auditor or the compliance team.

Another strong point is how well it integrates with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Intune. If you already use these platforms, the implementation is much faster and more consistent with your current environment.

Additionally, it is a solution that is constantly evolving. Safetica is frequently updated, incorporating new functionalities, security improvements, and adjustments based on real scenarios. This is complemented by active and well-documented technical support, which truly assists when you need to resolve doubts or fine-tune configurations.

In summary, Safetica has seemed to me a very balanced tool between security and usability. It doesn't interrupt daily work, but maintains solid control over the data. It is an ideal solution if you are looking to protect your company's information without complicating operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

First of all, its administration interface may feel a bit overloaded at first. It has many options, which is positive for someone who masters the subject, but it can be overwhelming for a new administrator or someone with no prior experience with DLP solutions.

Another point I noticed is that the policies require some fine-tuning to avoid generating false positives. Initially, it may block legitimate actions if the detection rules are not well calibrated. This means there is a small learning curve to find the balance between control and flexibility.

I also consider that the advanced reports could load a bit faster. If the database has a lot of information, the system takes a few more seconds to generate the more detailed reports.

And finally, although the integration with Microsoft is excellent, the connections with other environments or external applications could be expanded more, especially if the company uses tools outside the Microsoft ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Friendly Interface and Effective Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like Safetica for its easy administration, as its interface is user-friendly and it's easy to understand how to configure the policies. Additionally, it has everything a DLP needs, which contributes to everything the client collects in information on the console and helps improve and detect security breaches at early stages. The initial setup was also relatively simple and currently meets my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

They could improve on the automatic updating of computer equipment names, as it currently does not do so. If you install Safetica and it registers in the console, and then you change the name of the PC, it does not update in the Safetica console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Monitoring and Seamless DLP Integration"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

Safetica provides comprehensive employee monitoring and seamless integration with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. New release also includes the possibility to tag files from file explorer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

Poor performance moving large number os files.

Basic integrated way to label files. There is no easy way to change file label once it is attached to a file Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind: Safer Web Access and Easier Breach Tracing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like the peace of mind it gives me. I do not want to monitor my employees, but it lets me restrict access to dangerous websites. And if there’s a data breach, I can trace the problem much more easily. It is generally easy to use and in the new interface the implementation in the users seems simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

I sometimes have problems with updates; in the old interface, it was a bit simpler. Also, users are sometimes created automatically, and on the same PC there can be two or three licenses reserved because, at some point, another user has logged in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Implementation and Effective Protection"
5/5
What do you like best about Safetica?

I like that Safetica is an easy-to-use, implement, and configure DLP solution. The protection against information leaks is excellent, and I also appreciate the ability to have measurable metrics and real-time alerts. The ease of implementation is something I truly value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safetica?

The client update is not automatic and must be implemented manually. The migration from Safetica 10.5 to 11 does not save the parameters that were implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Missi Carmen of Safetica

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Great to hear you're seeing value in the modular setup, SQL Server support, and Fortinet integration. We understand the challenge without Active Directory—it's something we’re actively working to make more flexible.
