## About SafeShift
SafeShift is a workforce compliance platform for employers of hourly workers: the app that creates a track of compliance evidence for every shift, and PAGA compliance software for California employers. It tracks time and attendance through a PIN kiosk, a geofenced mobile app, or Toast, Square, and Clover POS; sends meal and rest break reminders by SMS and push in English and Spanish; records missed breaks with premium pay; collects clock-out attestations and pay-period certifications from employees; and exports court-ready PDF and CSV records. It also runs scheduling with shift swaps, tip pooling and tip credit calculations, onboarding paperwork (I-9, W-4, handbook e-signature), AI-drafted HR notices, and payroll-ready reports with full-service payroll through an ADP partnership. State rules apply per location, with the deepest coverage in California and more states added through 2026. Pricing starts at $69 per location per month, and every plan includes every feature.
