It’s one of those tools that just works and makes a noticeable difference in the guest experience. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** If I had to point out a downside, it would be that setting up playlists and schedules can feel a bit clunky at times. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can take a little extra time to get everything dialed in exactly how you want. I like that it integrates with Canva, and I can use all my templates that I have already used for my social media posts. It was also very easy to implement, which made getting started quick and simple for our team. I use this very often when creating our ads, and if there is ever an issue with the product, calling in to the support team is great. They can usually work you through the issue right over the phone. I do like that it is very easy to use. We have a few team members that are not tech-savvy, and they have picked up on how to use Rockbot very easily. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** These are few and far between, but I do wish you could upload a bigger file. Sometimes I have a PowerPoint that we use for special events where businesses put their sponsorships on it, and I export it as an MP4. If it is too big, I have to split it up. One thing I do wish is that you had a feature that was sort of like a screencast mode. **What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** What I like is that it is all cloud based, and that makes it so simple to use when I’m not actually on site at our restaurant. I can still get in, make changes, update specials, and keep upcoming events running without having to be there in person. After looking at all of the options available we selected Rockbot due to the ease of use, required hardware, and the cost. We are able to select different genres of music and define what plays and when. The biggest thing that was 100% required was a commercial license for the music, Rockbot covers us for all background music. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** The need for a separate phone, tablet, or PC to control almost all aspects of the device. The USB-C dongle to 3.5mm audio jack can also be a pain. **What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a cost effective service to legally play background music, Rockbot does this easily. We also like to play different music when we are not open to the public and Rockbot also does this easily. Large library of songs and genres so we can always play music that fits. ### 4. It offers a lot, including schedules, playlists, volume control, and more. We’ve been able to easily schedule what should be playing in each clinic, and then each clinic can fine-tune its playlists to match their preferences. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** Sometimes it takes a minute or two to skip songs or artists I dislike. Also, even after disliking an artist or a song, it still comes back up later on. There is a ban feature, but I’m not sure if that means I need to use it so that a particular artist or song never comes back, or if songs like it also won’t play. **What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rockbot gives our space an easy, consistent ambiance that we wouldn’t be able to accomplish with just a phone playlist. This feature means our employees can hear the music they enjoy and feel they have a say in an important aspect of their workday. I also appreciate that Rockbot doesn't limit us to specific genres; instead, we can hear songs from various genres and decades back to back, making everyone happy. It's very detailed and easy to use for a beginner, which has been very helpful for spreading messages on our mission, events, and updates to our customers. I find the music playlists super easy to use. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** I think the music playlist could be improved. Even though it's on a PG 13 rating, there are still questionable songs that aren't very family-friendly, and it would be nice if those were removed. Also, sometimes the audio levels are sort of out of sync or not loud enough in some stores. I kind of wish it was a more uniform sound level volume. **What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rockbot helps spread messages on our mission, events, and updates using overhead audio, and its music playlists have been super easy to use. It is also easy for staff to understand how to manage playlists, as the online portal is setup similar to individual music streaming services they already use, like Spotify or Pandora. I like that there is an option for Sonos integration. The price point is competitive. If you purchase a Rockbot player, installation is easy. The schedule and playlists make it a "set it and forget it" option for your commercial music needs. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** Sonos integration is less seamless than choosing the Rockbot player option. It does work, but it will time out on Sonos and need to be restarted, sometimes frequently. This may or may not be an issue on the Sonos side. The music stream will randomly stop, sometimes multiple times a day. It is not difficult to re-start the stream, but it does take a human to manually restart the stream. I would not recommend buying Sonos just for Rockbot, buy a Player if you do not already own Sonos equipment. It would be better if you could switch back and forth between the Player and Sonos. Unfortunately, you have to pick one or the other. If you need to change, you have to contact your account manager and have Rockbot make the change on the back end. **What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** They claimed to fix the Sonos connection issue, but it was taking too long and I switched to a Player instead. This is the only issue I have had with Rockbot. ### 9. The setup process was also super easy and simple, with no issues at all. **What do you dislike about Rockbot?** I'm not sure if it's even possible, but I'd like to be able to add songs to a playlist that's already made so that I don't have to make my own playlist.
