## interviewstream Reviews
  ### 1. Interviewstream helps us find better candidates more quickly.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ross V. | Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The system allows us to get to know larger pools of candidates more quickly in our process.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Video interviews can be intimidating so it takes some time to train hiring managers how to use it appropriately.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In all actuallity, resume tell you very littel about the candidate. Video interviews truly give you more opportunity to get to know the people you are considering for an in-person inteview.

  ### 2. Interview Stream Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin K. | TA Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2024

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Mass interviews at a candidates leisure. Not having to go back and forth to confirm a time with someone. Sharing someones interview .

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Would be good to be able to use the platform in other ways - onboarding welcome videos, job posting videos.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

spending time like a robot screening candidates. Now I can speak with candidates on a more deeper level.

  ### 3. Streamlining the Committee Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lenichtka R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

As the HR Director for Tigard-Tualatin SD, I am looking for ways in which our administrators are able to learn about more candidates and optimize the time of the hiring committee. Interviewstream allows for the hiring team to screen more candidates than they would in person and the candidates get to share more about themselves than what's on their resume.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Sometimes there are issues with the recordings that takes the administrator time to problem-solve. This typically means reassigning the interview through the platform. As a result, the candidate's interview has to be shared with the admin because it does not integrate in our hiring platform.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our goals is to divesify our workforce. We are looking for ways to mitigate bias in the screening process. This tools allows for us to create a system to a variety of candidates and discover those who actually meet what we are looking for through our screener questions.

  ### 4. Game Changing Digital Interview Software!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marsha S. | Human Resources Recruitment Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The Halton District School Board (HDSB) was one of the first K - 12 School Boards in Ontario to adopt Interviewstream technology.

After sitting through days of unsuccessful interviews with applicants whose French proficiency was not at the level required, we knew there had to be a better way to evaluate an applicant's French fluency prior to an interview.

The HDSB integrated one way Interviewstream interviews into our prescreening process which allowed us to quickly identify candidates who met our fluency requirements. As stated by a bilingual Administrator, Interviewstream has been a game changer!

We have since integrated Interviewstream technology into many other selection processes.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Interviewstream does not yet integrate with our Applicant Tracking software although integration is in the works.

We look forward to having applicant interviews linked with their internal application portfolio.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effectively prescreening candidates for positions with the HDSB. The software has allowed the HDSB to quickly identify candidates who best meet the needs of the HDSB in order to shorten our time to hire.

Our staff and our Managers and Administrators have benefitted as they are able to review interviewstream interviews wherever and whenever it works for them.

While some applicants say that they are extermely nervous to record their interview, others have given v

Scheduling challenges have been reduced as applicants can complete a one way interview wherever and whenever works best for them.

  ### 5. User friendly platform with solid support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2024

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The platform offers a great deal of flexibility. It allows to excellent branding and a solid candidate experience. Customer support is excellent, and implementation was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

We manage it outside our ATS by choice, but ideally would look for integration.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of response to applicants, as well as an opportunity to create a branded experience.

  ### 6. Asst Director, Corporate Talent Acquisition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Previous integration with ATS

Ability to share video interview requests with many Professional/Intern candidate pools

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Could use a refresh in presentation for the candidate experience. Many candidates claim invitations/follow-ups go to spam folder.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paint a clearer picture on candidates communication skills and understanding of out company/role they're applying to

  ### 7. Easy and Effective program to set up and utilize when beginning the hiring process.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Very user-friendly and easy to implement. We frequently use this program as an initial screening tool when beginning our hiring process.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I don't have anything to say that would be a criticism of the program.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing Candidates is much more convenient using this program

  ### 8. Interviewstream- Screening With Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Interviewstream has made screening applicants very easy. It also guarantees all applicants an interview. Integration with Frontline is seamless.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

So far there have been no glitches with Interviewstream. Two years in and we are very satisfied.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Interviewstream we had to screen all applicants in person. This limited the number of applicants we could screen and when we could screen them.

  ### 9. Love the application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2022

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The ease of creating digital inverviews and customer service.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Not being able to delete other's unessesary digital interviews once they are obsolete, even with admin rights. Also, I wish I could use one interview stream for multiple job category types in FLC, but the system won't allow it.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very much enjoying sending out automatic digital interviews once an applicant submits an application for a particular job posting.

  ### 10. Application still runs slow for students- needs more user friendly interface

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The platform is a great idea and students can get feedback and practice their skills

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Still runs slow, needs more interactive usage. I do not think the site is very friendly in terms of eye catching.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The interview practice with students is great.

  ### 11. RIVS Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa M. | I manage a team that brings great talent to our Hospital, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I love the ease of use: set up, customization, and sharing of information is just a click (or two) away! It's easy to "batch" process work as well as upload files (through CSV) or using my personal favorite, the Google Chrome extension that RIVS has (since we aren't integrated with our ATS yet).

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

When I use the Chrome extension, it will sometimes "guess" what the name is of the person who we are inviting to interview. If it's the wrong name, I don't have the ability to edit it on the spot. I can edit it on the RIVS platform. It is my understanding that they are working on this on the Chrome extension.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Look beyond the basics as there is so much this tool can do for you.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to work smarter (not harder) and has saved me hundreds of hours of time in my team's day in reviewing, interviewing and narrowing down our candidate pool. It also has allowed me to create a fun way to do employee check-ins at the 30 - 90 - 180 day marks, using video of leadership to add to the experience.

  ### 12. It's a good experience and very easy to use this service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I like that this service offer the convenience for interviews to be conducted for applicants anywhere. Especially applicants who are relocating from another state.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Sometimes the videos do not work properly. This could be due to different internet connections and speed.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using RIVS helps to assist with some of our hiring needs. It offers the flexibility to interview applicants locally and from afar. It allows the applicant to interview from the comfort of their home especially if they are planning to relocate. By using this service we have hired many candidates. RIVS allows us the opportunity to put a face with name of the potential candidate. We are able to get to know the potential candidate somewhat on a personal level and can get a sense of their personality before we meet them face to face. RIVS has helped our company with meeting some of our hiring needs.

  ### 13. Useful tool that saves us a lot of time

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Rivs is easy to understand and use from the candidate's perspective. Rivs makes it clear how the video recording works, when it will start, and that you can stop answering/recording any time.
Rivs is quite customizable as well. You can configure the time available per answer as well as the prep time per answer.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

The team at Rivs has been unresponsive to feedback. It seems like that are not interested in extending their market to tech companies, which is sad as well as surprising. Our requests for support for code editor did not generate any interest or desire to add that feature.
Same with our requests for randomizing questions from our own question bank - which is not even specific to tech companies.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Already mentioned in what I dislike about the product. Rivs the company seems uninterested in growing its market and supporting more features.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to scale our interviewing process with fewer resources. It is quicker to evaluate video recordings than scheduling an interview and spending an hour on the interview.

  ### 14. RIVS helps streamline the vetting process.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kurt L. | Associate Superintendent for Human Resources, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

RIVS offers an easy-to-use platform for getting to know your candidates. RIVS video interviews allow more than just a snapshot of an applicant; they help employers assess an applicant's ability to articulate answers to customizable questions, and they provide a window into the applicant's thought process and professional priorities.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

The experience of video interviewing is still new to many candidates, and some are very nervous and uncertain when answering questions on camera...even one mounted on a personal computer or mobile device in a setting of the candidate's choosing. And so, it is important to give all applicants the benefit of the doubt if their video interviews do not come out as smoothly they might like.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We often have an abundance of candidates for vacancies, and it is simply not feasible to bring all "qualified" individuals in for in-person interviews. However, some qualities and abilities are hard to assess through a review of credentials, and it is often difficult to differentiate between similarly experienced applicants simply by comparing what's on paper. RIVS video interviews give us that additional insight into a candidate's way of thinking and responding to questions that are meaningful to our organization's culture and mission.

  ### 15. Find Quality Candidates More Efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

RIVS allows us to 'meet' our candidates before we talk to them in person. We are able to ask the same questions of all applicants that are developed by our administrative team to find the right people for our team.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I would love to see some way to link interviews done via job fairs with an application completed at a later date.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting is more efficient. We are spending our 'in person' time with quality candidates.

  ### 16. RIVS video platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim B. | VP Recruiting, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

1.Unlimited questions
2. Ability to record questions .messages and etc
3. Live interview is a strong feature not available in several services we looked at.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Most of the issues are not problems the vendor can solve like slow ISP

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Definitely worth a look if you do complex hires and need to ask a lot of screening questions.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can gain a lot of information about the candidate in a few response views.

  ### 17. Best Hiring Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Gives us a chance to see and hear the candidate rather than just going by paper resume.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

There really isn't anything that I dislike about the RIVS product.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Look for other ways to use the product as well.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are more objective in our hiring process and more consistent in our interviews because the questions are the same for all candidates.

  ### 18. RIVS has helped our hiring process!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I love that our hiring managers/campus principals are able to see all of our applicants before even inviting them in for in-person interviews. We are able to give all of our applicants a voice.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

There are a few logistical issues that keep me from giving RIVS the highest score. We would like to be able to separate different years of digital interviews so that we are able to easily distinguish one hiring season from another when we have applicants interviewing in multiple seasons.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Ensure that you allow your technology team to aid in the implementation.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We receive a high number of applications, and we were afraid that some high quality applicants could fall through the cracks. Being able to see each applicant in a digital interview has increased our ability to vet candidates more thoroughly and accurately.

  ### 19. intuative and easy system to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lionel R. | Vice President Contact Centers, Clod5, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

functionality and rationalization, very intuitive

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

nothing to dislike, very functional for our business

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

great product, easy to set up and very easy to manage for interviewing candidates. Being able to cater the questions/videos to out need is a huge bonus and time saver..

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

main goal is to hire the right Candidate the first time. Rivs has proven the ability to help us hire a better qualified candidate and most importantly reduced both up front screening and overall employee attrition. we have tried many other options and now that we have a few years with RIVS it is the tool we feel most comfortable using with great results and easy functionality.

  ### 20. User-friendly, incredible support and great software!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

It's easy to set up and very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I wish it was easier to add multiple candidates email addresses and send the video link to. I also wish it was guaranteed to always go to inboxes. Some of our candidates have found the link in their junk mail.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Yes!

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us funnel down the amount of people we speak with regarding roles.

  ### 21. Hire Faster, Smarter and Cheaper with RIVS Digital Interviewing Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg D. | Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Simply put...the RIVS platform is easy to use and comes with unlimited user and interviews. I've given accounts to every employee who asks for one. In my school district we use it both as an HR tool and to conduct school-based functions as well.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I would not use the world "dislike" but it would be nice if the evaluation tools would be more customize-able. RIVS is set up to be an interview tool, but I'm using it for a variety of functions outside its original design intents.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to interview approximately 5-20% of all job applicants. Now we interview between 75-100% of all applicants for each job. More choices means better hiring decisions and that increases employee retention rates. It's provides for a more efficient use of managerial time and it is cheaper too!

  ### 22. An essential component of our hiring process as we've grown over the years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

RIVS is the most useful interviewing tool we've used, hands down. Even with our own pre-qualifying processes we wasted a ton of time interviewing candidates that ended up to be terrible fits. With RIVS one-way video interviews we're able to cut out the clutter and hone in on valuable future members of our team.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

We were early users of the platform, and we had to roll with the punches as they made improvements to the platform. The support team was very receptive to our feedback along the way though, and they have continued to deliver over the years.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Strongly recommended. No pressure demo, super friendly support, and you'll immediately get value out of the platform if you are in the process of interviewing.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First and foremost, as implied above, we are able to qualify candidates much faster now, and our interviewing process is much more organized. Before when conducting interviews, we would all get together at the last minute to brainstorm questions to ask the particular candidate, very much ad hoc. Then we'd spend an hour with the candidate, and often times the person wasn't a great fit. With RIVS we get access to a database of recommended questions that are time tested for a variety of interview types.

Lastly - scheduling. We didn't realize how much time was wasted going back and forth trying to nail down times with candidates. Their scheduling tool makes it effortless.

Great all-in-one solution!

  ### 23. Video interview is very easy to use and gives great results to the recruiter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

It is easy to customize the questions and easy for the candidates to pick up the link and use the service in a timely fashion.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Occasionally the candidate is not close enough to the microphone and their voice is too soft to pick up their answers, but this is rare.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Talk to the candidates before sending the video and explain how it works.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because completion of the video is required to continue the interview process, we are able to easily gague a candidate's interest in the company and the position.

  ### 24. Great Digital Tool for Talent Attraction

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Allows us to gain insights into the candidate's personality digitally which might be missed in a traditional phone interview. It is also very interesting to see how candidates will show up for a digital interview. The other thing is it allows us to keep up a fast pace when our volume of openings are high too.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I wish it were easier to use the same questions from previous jobs and copy over to a new job. We gets lots of jobs that are repeat hires all across the country and setting up another workflow is a bit time consuming.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have eliminated some candidate travel and therefore saving a substantial amount of money. Our leaders also like the software which allows them to view candidate interviews before bringing them onsite for a interview. Time savings is a big thing.

  ### 25. RIVS Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Using RIVS allows for qualifying interviews to occur at a much quicker pace as I no longer have to schedule face to face or Skype interviews between candidates and the hiring manager. I love that the candidate can complete the interview at anytime. I like that we can personalize interview templates based on the project needs.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

While the majority of our candidates find RIVS to be a fairly simple platform to use we do still have perhaps up to 1/4 of candidates that experience issues with loading the questions, the screen blacking out during the recording or submitting the response before they were ready. I wish RIVS would allow us to include jpeg images to share as part of the question presented to candidates. I also wish RIVS integrated better with our ATS.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency to hire candidates is greater using RIVS. Since we are a a company that provides service in all 50 states in all markets, we would never get the opportunity to meet in person all our talent. RIVS provides a better understanding of the candidate we are presenting to clients and representing the company.

  ### 26. Great Time Saving Tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I like that we can customize the video interviews. The videos are also very clear.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Sometimes the videos buffer too much. You have to wait a while for the video to play.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are interviewing more candidates and this allows us to have a bigger candidate pool.

  ### 27. Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The participants do not need to download software!

We can text back and forth during the interview and the Candidate can not see the messages.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

It is not a RIVS issue, but some Internet speeds are not enough.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great to be able to allow people to review 2-way, Face-to-Face Interviews.

  ### 28. Outstanding tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer C. | Talent Acquisition Administrator, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Gives me the opportunity to learn more about the candidates before I get on the phone with them.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I really enjoy using this tool overall; I do not have any negative feedback at this moment.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RIVS helps the Bealls Talent Team select the best talent possible for our open requisitions.

  ### 29. convenience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

convenience to interview candidates and accessibility from computer or cellphone app

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

the billing process; I have to request our invoice every month. These should be sent to us every month before the due date

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

interview timeframe

  ### 30. Good Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Textiles | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Whenever I had a question or ran into an error in the system, RIVS Customer Support team was quick to respond and help.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I could see the system being a little less user friendly for hiring managers than other platforms. However, my team ended up using the tool for assessing current employees through audio recordings.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to help our managers get better at using our Appointment Setting Sales Scripts.

  ### 31. Highly Recommend RIVS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Magdalena W. | Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The best part of the video interviewing process is that you can have multiple candidates in the process at once and that you can share the videos with hiring managers quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Nothing, I love this product and highly recommend it to anyone interested.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Try it... it will make your life as a recruiter so much easier!

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are filling open positions quickly, decreasing the cost of candidate travel and increasing the amount of candidate flow in the process.

  ### 32. Tremendous time saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

That the candidates and reviewers can interview and review on their own schedule.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

The status reports/widgets could be more variable (more options).

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Give it a try for an open position as a proof of concept. Make sure those trialing it know how to use it properly. The results will surely be positive.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using RIVS to reduce the amount of time it takes to schedule interviews. In addition, RIVS helps us select viable candidates based upon video and responses to simple question sets. We have been able to speed up the interview process tremendously and the fact that resumes, video responses, notes about the candidate, etc. are in one place, this is extremely helpful.

  ### 33. Video Interviewing Software

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ray L. | Project Controls, Engineering, Construction Management Recruiter - Energy / Industrial, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I liked the fact that I could record myself asking specific interview questions. It was also fairly easy to keep track of the past interviews and generate a hyperlink for each candidate.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Setting up interviews is cumbersome unless you plan to use the "generic" questions that interview stream provides. But, I don't think you will get the results that you want unless you tailor the interview questions to your industry and the specific job the candidate is interviewing for. The dashboard cannot be customized either, and you will want to move things around to make it more efficient. My biggest pet peeve is that I did not have access to interviews when we stopped subscribing to InterviewStream.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

This tool is not for a large corporation. I would recommend any company that performs more than 200 interviews per year to look elsewhere for a better product.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a staffing provider on a national scale, we do not meet our candidates face to face so this added another layer to our vetting process. We had some clients who were very happy to work with us because we were providing something different that our competitors were not.

  ### 34. Find RIVS very user friendly with few technical challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Supermarkets | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

How easy it is to send candidates pre-recorded video interview invitations

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Not user friendly when it comes to generating reports/reviewing data

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Compare to others, you will find RIVS is easy to use, delivers what is necessary and deliver great customer service.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduces time and cost associated with initial interviews. Prevents unwarranted second interviews being scheduled.

  ### 35. Really helpful system with good support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Ease of use and good support for transition to this new system

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Unable to transfer across previously completed Virtual Interviews from old system

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is located on a remote island so it is impossible to do face-to-face interviews and given poor internet connection Skype interviews are difficult - the virtual interview system helps with our selection process

  ### 36. We’ve had a very positive reception to the concept of video interviews.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barb S. | HR Manager, Human Resources, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Video interviews are a huge enhancement to our efforts to recruit from a broader region, providing an avenue for our remote applicants to compete to fill vacancies with our school district.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Some candidates are intimidated by the video interview process.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expanding our ability to recruit remote candidates. Strengthening our ability to vet potential candidates without going through the live interview process.

  ### 37. RIVS Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

RIVS is extremely easy to use. It is simple and straight to the point. It makes it very easy for our candidates to utilize as well.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

You cannot use the same name/email for a candidate to redo an interview.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to interview individuals who are out of state or who are not able to make it in our office which really helps solve business problems. This benefits us because we can push the candidate through the process whereas if we didn't have the interview we would not be able to.

  ### 38. Excellent product and service

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

  ### 40. RIVS helps make the best choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wes J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The ease of the program and how organized it keeps everything

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Not sure we have anything that we don't like

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RIVS is one more easy step with employers that helps screen employees before bringing them in to interview.

  ### 41. Recruiting Operations Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Its very user friendly and they enjoy having access to redo the questions when needed. The clients also enjoy how easy and professional the products turn out.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

We have system issues sometimes, which takes longer and makes the candidate redo most of the questions.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is very useful and the candidates mention how user friendly it is.

  ### 42. Good Solution For What It Does

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

You have the ability to set custom interview questions and record introductions. Emailing a link to the interview once complete was very easy.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

The interface was confusing for some of the candidates whom we worked with.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

If you are considering InterviewStream for your hiring needs, I would recommend taking the candidate interviews with a grain of salt. The format is uncomfortable for candidates to record answers to questions without having the immediate feedback of a video conference or a phone call. Most candidates seemed nervous or uncomfortable with the video recording and we had sometimes had challenges preparing candidates beforehand. That said, it was priced fairly and accomplished the task reasonably well.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are no longer using InterviewStream because the format of recorded interviews doesn't work well for what we were trying to accomplish.

  ### 43. Useful!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I like that the platform is easy to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

I dont like not all candidates find it easy to use. Im not sure why!

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Things seem to be heading in the right direction. Because our candidates have trouble with it, we've stopped using it for the time being.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We phone screen a number of candidates and this makes our selection process quicker and more lean.

  ### 44. Great idea but backend needs work

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2018

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Simple for hiring managers and candidates to use for video and written virtual interviews

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

Support was lacking, system is clunky to configure for optimal use.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

DO NOT USE AS A STAND-ALONE ATS

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cut down on time to hire, provide a face to face candidate experience from the first interview.

  ### 45. Connection problems not solved by tech/customer support

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2017

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

Liked the fact that you could record and review your interview answers and re-do the interview the second time around.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

The software link did not work on my PC. Had several emails with detailed print screens that spanned several days with the tech/customer support. A connection with the InterviewStream software simply did not work. I gave up us a customer.

Last attempt I tried it on my smartphone and it worked without any support from tech/customer service. Not the most ideal thing to do a pre-recorded interview on a smartphone.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Test it first with users. I'm pretty good with technology and have a Core i7 PC with various Internet browsers but there's a bug in the software that gave me a hard time as a customer connecting to the service.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefit was NOT realized because I spent so much time emailing and documenting my problems to tech/customer support. So the convenience factor of the software was taken out of the equation.

  ### 46. Good platform, good purpose

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2017

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

The functionality and purpose was really helpful for the college students that I worked with during their prep for job searching.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

It was hard to draw students to want to use this platform, despite how much they could gain from it.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I worked in a Career Services department and helped students with job searching. I realized the benefits of InterviewStream were positive when students took the time to use it because it allowed them to see their areas of weakness.

  ### 47. Not much more than a novelty app for me

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler R. | Support Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2016

**What do you like best about interviewstream?**

I like the record and review feature and the overall concept is interesting.

**What do you dislike about interviewstream?**

It has so much potential but is so poorly realized. It is repetitive, does not have longevity, gets stale, is glitchy and you could seemingly accomplish the same end result by recording yourself on a webcam or camera phone externally.

**Recommendations to others considering interviewstream:**

Give it a trial and really evaluate if it's at all necessary.

**What problems is interviewstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cannot say that I solved any problems nor have I truly realized any benefits.
