## rightsline Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent Product for Tracking Rights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2023

**What do you like best about rightsline?**

Rightsline's features are really helpful in letting me track my titles along with the Rights that I've acquired and those that I plan to sell. The avails reports are helpful and easy to use, and I know Rightsline has some updates in store to make them even better. Also, the customer success team is super helpful in answering all of my questions and making me feel like a valued customer

**What do you dislike about rightsline?**

There are a lot of powerful features to use but it is a little difficult to learn how to control them all in configuration. Also, the reporting tool is
 a little confusing

**What problems is rightsline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of my film rights and availabilities.

  ### 2. Powerful, complex tool for tracking contracts and rights

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about rightsline?**

Rightsline is a great tool for cloud-based contract storage, facilitating ease of access for multiple colleagues working remotely. Rightsline is also customizable, so an administrator can limit which users have access to certain information and files. The Rights Explorer tool is particularly powerful, allowing me to quickly research what rights I own in particular territories within a particular timeframe. Rightsline's recorded tutorials useful (though not always easy to find) and I make frequent use of their data import and data update features, which are easy and powerful tools to quickly make changes to a large number of records at once.

**What do you dislike about rightsline?**

Rightsline attempts to capture the complexity of individual contracts and their nearly infinite possibilities within a limited set of fields. I've found it difficult to account for non-standard contractual language in this system when using the Rights Explorer feature. Additionally, Rightsline is necessarily literal in its searches; therefore, it is extremely difficult--and sometimes impossible--to perform rights searches where there's flexibility in media / territory / language. Lastly, though Rightsline is graphically pleasing and seems fairly easy to navigate on its surface, it's a complex tool that takes time to learn, especially if your company uses a lot of non-standard contracts.

**What problems is rightsline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate being able to send questions or set meetings with a Rightsline representative when questions arise. They have been responsive and helpful thus far. I've specifically had issues regarding sublicensing rights, for which there's no built-in functionality. I worked out a solution with a RL rep that isn't the most elegant, but it did the trick and didn't require RL to develop new functionality. As I've gotten used to the system, I have additional questions to work through with our rep and look forward to finding solutions.

  ### 3. Very happy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about rightsline?**

Working with everyone at Rightsline has been a pleasure. Every time we have needed help or assistance, they have been there to guide us through. It's not always fun learning a new program, but they simplified everything for us, and having rightsline for our cataglog has made everything so much easier. Very happy we decided to use them.

**What do you dislike about rightsline?**

There's nothing I dislike because they have met all of our requests and have done everything we have asked for the program to fit our needs. Rightsline has made our jobs much easier.

**What problems is rightsline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A significant benefit of using rightsline is seeing our catalog and what platforms each film is on. We have hundreds of movies and over 20 platforms we service, and rightsline has just made our day-to-day jobs more manageable.

  ### 4. Great Product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah A. | Lead Operations Coordinator

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about rightsline?**

The way we can store our contractual obligations in one place and have a profile for each.

**What do you dislike about rightsline?**

The way that it is very difficult to use the reports feature/views.

**What problems is rightsline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems with the alarms, and benefits with storing information.

  ### 5. Just OK

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

It's a great way to upload lots of information at once.

**What do you dislike about rightsline?**

It loses information frequently and has a few bugs.

**What problems is rightsline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used for collecting information from clients.
