**Reviewed by:** Vishal G. | Mechanical Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

The UI is user-friendly, and it can create very complex 3D geometries. I’m using it inside Revit with Grasshopper, and it gives me plenty of options for manipulating geometry. Performance has been very good as well. It also has a huge user community, so I’m able to get good support quickly when I need it.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

The interface feels a bit outdated. I don’t like the auto-save feature, and sometimes it doesn’t save my work if the it crashes.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically, Revit is great for managing building data, but it is pretty stiff when you need to calculate complex shapes or placement rules. Rhino solves this by stepping in to handle all the heavy math.
The biggest benefit for me is Rhino.Inside.Revit. I can use Grasshopper to solve hard layout problems like finding the best paths or organizing dat and instantly turn those results into real Revit elements.

  ### 11. Rhino - the best CAID and CAS software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anil R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

It is very lightweight. You can run it on a Mac or PC with low specs. It is fast compared to other software. It is one of the best tools for surfacing forms and creating parametric patterns. It is very versatile - you can use it for industrial design, transportation design, architecture, etc. It can import and export to different formats like STEP and OBJ, which is very helpful. It is not expensive.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

It doesn't have a structural functionality. It is more of a shaping tool (surfacing, shaping, forming) rather than a building tool(assemblies, stacking forms, adding, subtracting, shaping, surfacing, forming). Cannot be used for creating assemblies. It is not readily parametric but you can add grasshopper to your workflow and make it parametric. It is not easy to use . Users must learn it via courses and master it via practice.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with easy surface and pattern creation, which is a resource-heavy process when done on an alternative CAD software like Solidworks or NX. These functions can be easily done on a PC with low specs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** André A. | Arquiteto e Urbanista, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino3D has a complete and powerful set of tools for organic and geometric 3D modeling, with a rich ecosystem of plugins available, with an easy-to-learn curve for users who came from other 3D software (like SketchUp and AutoCAD), or with no previous knowledge. The licensing scheme is also a big advantage because it is not based on subscription.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

The viewport can be slow with some plugins and scenes full of high poly models, requiring a workstation-class GPU. Also, the Cycles render engine can't be updated independently in Rhino 6, neither the AMD ProRender, which is a problem for users who didn't upgrade yet.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to make 3D models with precision with a workflow that is easy to understand, and not being complex as Blender or 3dsmax for example. Also, the native support for IFC format and the availability of useful plugins (including BIM-related tools) is a great addition for architecture work because with its native set of tools Rhinoceros can be used for 3D modeling, BIM modeling, and technical drafting, replacing other tools that are market leaders.

  ### 17. Must use software for architects

I can model anything in 3d, draw CAD files, and trace photos. These have helped with personal and professional projects.

  ### 18. rhino is my go to software for product design as I'm a product / interior designer.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya A. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

the best part is the software compatible with others such as key shot, ai, and others that help to get my work done at the right time.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

the thing I disliked about the software is when it gets hung when you change the solid view to render, idk it happens w me, or with everyone.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

if you are a product designer and looking for software like AutoCAD that can do proper drafting plus making 3d then rhino is the perfect software for you.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

approx 70% of my work is done on this software so it's solving a lot of problems like AutoCAD I get approx the same things for drafting or making anything with proper measurements and at the same time I'm getting the 3d.

  ### 19. 3D modeler for every use and everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toni P. | Produc manager , Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Before using it for my actual job I didn't have any school lesson and started just by my own, reading ebooks and watching tutorials online.
What I liked most was the ease of learning and the versatility of its application.
Being able to download many plugins enriches even more the software functions.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino still doesn't have a good native rendering engine (hopefully we can rely on the pluging).
The user interface could be better designed.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it as an all in one software that kept me from making other purchases of additional softwares.

  ### 20. It's pretty great for 3D modeling but plugins often aren't easy work with...

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

-Rhino is generally a great piece of software for modeling
-While typing commands into the UI takes some getting used to, it works well once you're on a roll
-It's a top software for 3D modeling however studios seem to often opt for Google Sketchup, Revit, etc.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

-Really wish rendering capabilities were more robust out of the box since users have to forage elsewhere for rendering software like Enscape, Lumion etc
-Tends to crash and get super bogged down with larger projects so would love built-in guidance on how to avoid things like this
-This sounds minor but zooming in and out can be a HUGE headache (ie comparing Rhino's zoom with something like the Enscape plug-in, there's a limit to how much you can zoom into something from any given point, whereas if you're using Enscape, you can zoom/move in and out anywhere as much as you want)

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

It's generally great modeling software however doesn't seem to be fully ubiquitous across the design industry (architecture, design etc) but I wish it was...

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without sounding too cheesy, Rhino really does help make your ideas come to life... It's a pretty awesome thing to be able to start creating 2D and 3D models from whatever your vision is and/or take ideas/sketches/photos etc. and draw over them directly within Rhino.

  ### 21. 3D Concept Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

The best quality of Rhino is that it is a relatively intuitive software that allows you to quickly create concepts in 3D space. It is most useful for the conceptual phase of design, allowing the user to create iterative design and illustration. Parametric modeling is Rhino's strength, and the ability to quickly and easily adjust parameters within your model is a valuable tool. The ability to take hand sketches into the 3D world and share designs with other teams in this way is incredibly useful.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino is somewhat lacking in the exactness and precision available in other 3D tools such as Revit. There are better options on the market for creating a true-to-life 3D representation, such as for modeling architectural plans. However, when used for concepts and illustrative renderings that do not need to be built to scale, Rhino is my preferred 3D tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

I would recommend looking at a combination of Rhino and Revit for different modeling needs, and looking deeper into interfaces that allow you to link your models between the two programs. I tend to think of Rhino as the "Creative 3D" software, and Revit as the "Exact 3D" software, and I get the most use out of the combination of the two. I would also recommend learning Grasshopper in conjunction with Rhino.

As with most software at this level, there is a bit of a learning curve if you are trying to create complex models. However, it is easy to pick up on the most commonly used tools, especially if you have time to watch tutorials and instructional content.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I enjoy using Rhino to share concepts and ideas with others across my organization. Rhino is a widely utilized software and is compatible with multiple other programs and platforms. Rhino is also my preferred software to use to create 3D printed items for personal use. It is relatively easy to create STL files to send to a 3D printer, enabling you to print your designs at home.

  ### 22. Rhino is the end all be all for 3D

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

I love how using Rhino we can see our products in a 3D form. Within Rhino you can 3D model for manufacturing and real-world problems. We use rhino to create 3D shoe lasts where we then get precise measurements and quality assurance.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

There isn't anything that I really dislike about rhino.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rhinoceros helps us create a digital supply chain and produce standard operating procedures for manufacturing.

  ### 23. Best Design Development Software for Architects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino is the most powerful and handy software for architects to develop their designs. It is easy to navigate and create designs that meet every designer's needs. It also has powerful adding analysis programs in its built-in grasshopper which is super useful for analyzing sun and shadow paths.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

The software may be too powerful and have too many functions built into it, which sometimes make it uneasy to find which function to use to produce the intended product.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Best software to develop your design! It's the most powerful and most user-friendly software for architects.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Architectural designs. It's the easiest and most powerful software to create different forms and various shapes. It's also a powerful tool to produce 2D line drawings. The make 2D function is one of the best functions that I use all the time

  ### 24. Best for CAD Modeling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rashi G. | Biomedical Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino is extremely simple to use and has exact measurements. We can design anything and everything on Rhino, from jewelry to automobile parts. The distances are very accurate, and the files are 3D printable, which makes them very useful. The interface is easy to use and doesn't require much strain on the eyes. We can create custom shortcuts and commands. It can import almost all types of files.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino does not allow much freedom. We have to perform all the tasks manually, and there are no shortcuts. It does have a save history command, but it is sometimes not very useful. It does not perform well on meshes. If we have an STL file as input, we have to spend a lot of time converting that STL into a surface.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

There will be a steep learning curve while using rhino, but once you are acquainted with the commands, it can do wonders, and you will be delighted.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use rhino for CAD modeling and design or surgical guides. Rhino has always given us exact results that much other software cannot provide. The best feature of Rhino is that we don't need to know where the command or tool is. We can type whatever command we want to, and it will happen. Also, we can left-click if we're going to go to the previous order. Also, there are custom screens options, and the rendering and visibility of the objects are charming.

The rhinoceros software helps us to perform designing of the product with great precision and we can perform editings to the previous designs easily for new specifications.

  ### 27. Best modelling tool I have ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino support team is extremely prompt and diligent in responding to queries. Great resources available for learning in the form of manulas, tutorials and sample files. Great Rhino user communities and forums who are very helpful in sharing their expertise.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

The vastness of the tool was overwhelming as a beginner but I came it appreciate it and think it's amazing now in the host of versatile capabilities it houses.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Use the online resources and be patient. It's worth it.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rhino to construct models which I use for daylighting and acoustics simulations on other platforms. It's amazing that compatible models can be exported from Rhino which can be used easily.

  ### 28. Great for Conceptual Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avery C. | Marketing Director, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

I like that rhino is command-based and will even help populate commands as you start to type them. Rhino will walk you through multi-step commands, which can be particularly useful for complex actions. Rhino lets users be free to explore a concept without having all of the concrete details thought out yet.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

While Rhino is great for conceptual design, it is not so great for taking that concept into reality. Rhino makes it difficult to design something that is reality-proof because it allows you to do complex physics that wouldn't work once you construct a design in real life. The buck stops with Rhino once your design is ready to become more concrete, and at that point, you will need to move on to another program.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Rhino is powerful and fun--but make sure it fits your needs. If you are looking for a program that can take you all the way from concept to finished product, consider looking elsewhere.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rhino is great for massing and concept exploration. It allows way more freedom of exploration than programs in the Autodesk family of software, which require more concrete details in order to work. Rhino is quick to use and allows for a multitude of viewing options.

  ### 29. Robust software for designers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino seems to have nearly endless capabilities. The commands and tools built in allow for a vast array of operations, analyses, and operations.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

My main qualm with Rhino is the learning curve necessary to model efficiently and accurately.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Rhino requires some use to get used to and learn the commands. However, its capabilities make it the most versatile 3D modeling software I have used.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rhino allows me to accurately model architectural designs in order to communicate design intent and construction details.

  ### 30. Intelligent program

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna M. | Design Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

I like how the program functions similarly to autocad but has much more complex features, capabilities, and shortcuts.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

I dislike how complicated and detailed the program is making it difficult to learn quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Amazing program. Just make sure you take the time to teach yourself or learn properly, be patient it's worth it!

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this program I am able to design complex models wirh a lot of curves and details. The benefit of this is that it makes the fabrication process more seamless, as the drawings are much more accurate.

  ### 31. The best drafting tool ever -- unparalleled precision and ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | Creative Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

The auto-completing command line and the ability to enter exact values of what you want any tool to perform. The way I explain Rhino to other 3D users who don't do CAD is: Rhino is basically an incredibly sophisticated DRAFTING tool: it's not only my favorite 2D drafting tool, but it's the best for hard surface 3D modeling projects as well (or any modeling that will then result in physical prototyping and manufacturing). Rhino has a unique UX due to its command line, and it's very much appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

For my uses, I've never found a single significant shortcoming that is worth griping about. Really, Rhino is like an old friend.

Better line and fill visualization options would be handy, but I'm still using v5, so maybe 6 or WIP has some of this already.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used it for almost everything: prototyping physical parts for 3D printing, injection mold design, graphic design and logo design, creating assets for animations (animated in another program), etc.

Basically, think of any situation where you would "need" to use Adobe Illustrator, and instead use Rhino and be blown away by how much better of an analytic-drafting tool it is than Illustrator.

  ### 32. Rhino Is Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

I prefer to use Rhinocerous when designing custom pieces for my architecture and interior design projects. The gumball, blocking, and variety of easy-to-learn commands make it superior to most other software.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

I wish Rhino had better-quality rendering without needing to add a plug-in. Even so, it's great once you combine it with VRay or Enscape. It's complicated to learn, but great once you figure it out.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Make sure it is necessary for the type of work you are doing.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rhinocerous has helped with a lot of custom fabrication projects. Many of my clients need a better visual representation of the design than a 2D drawing can provide.

  ### 33. Powerful + Versatile 3D Modeling Program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon W. | Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino has a wide range of applications - it is very versatile. I use it in the architecture industry and for furniture design. It works well when modeling entire cities down to details of the fasteners and joints in furniture. Versatility also comes from plugins such as Grasshopper allow you to explore computational design.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

There is a learning curve to Rhino, as is expected with any sophisticated 3D modeling program. It is extremely powerful; however, you need to know the right commands to get the job done.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve a variety of problems, including visualizing your design ideas in 3D, automating design processes based on parameters (computational design), visual representation of data (via computational design), and understanding conflicts / issues with the construction of furniture.

  ### 34. The must have CAD

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamas F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

I love the "free form" aspect of the 3D design I haven't seen in any other CAD. The image quality is BY LIGHT YEARS better than any other CAD, provided you have a half-decent graphics card with enough memory. The limit is the sky, what you can produce in Rhino. You do need to learn, but after a while, it becomes pretty logical how tools work. I took lessons and obtain an Intermediate level certificate. I want to do at some point Advanced too because it is worth it. I use the commercial version for years having Rhino CAM too. Besides the CAM, I used Rhino to design many different parts, including some with surfaces and reverse engineering odd or old parts very succesfuly.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

I'm not sure what is there I dislike? Dark mode?? I'm working many hours in a day with CAD/CAM, and I could use dark or night mode, so my eyeballs don't fall out after a long day on screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

CAM, 3D product design, realistic rendering, reverse engineering, scenario simulation, inspection by matching up points measured vs surface given, etc

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interestingly you can solve a lot of problems in Rhino because of the capability of the software. The list would be way too long. Look up the user base, and you get the answer.

  ### 35. Rhinoceros Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos A. | Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

The manipulation of objects such as surfaces and solids from a real-time parametric approach is great!

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

Not as intuitive as other CAD and design software

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

Get a trial version. It lasts 90 days.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create 3D volumes for Finite Element Analysis with complex geometries

  ### 36. Excellent 3D sketch program, especially if you have autocad background.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

Rhino is very quick to sketch out 3D ideas or present quick rendered mockups. I also use it heavily for vector linework layout.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

It's not parametric, so I end up making lots of copies to create "save" points along the modeling process. It can be a little tricky to implement design changes without some technical work.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it primarily for presenting 3D mockups to win clients and for 2D production files for CNC / Laser / Print in my sign business.

  ### 37. Review about the use of Rhinoceros

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha S. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

I enjoy working with Rhinoceros as a 3D modelling computer program

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

Sometimes exporting as a 2D drawing can be time consuming

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

I would highly recommend users to start using Rhinoceros. It is a 3D program that allows you to create fast and accurate 3D models. For our discipline (urban design) it works great. I enjoy working with Rhinoceros because it allows to organise the file very well with all the layers options. In terms of support there are many tutorial videos available and also user guides that explain all the functions in detail and therefore there are not any commands that are not easy to understand. I like the fact that you can have floating licenses, for example in our office we have a few licenses and we create and team and can share the purchased licenses. This offers flexibility to the team and is a plus when working in a team with multiple people.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an urban designer and I am using Rhinoceros mainly for volumetric models. I use it to make and volumetric studies of urban plans. I import 2D base drawings from Autocad and then using extruding commands create the 3D model. I calculate the total volume with Rhino, continue building the model and finally exporting the end product. I return to 2D drawing as Autocad or Illustrator or I use Lumion for making renders. I am very satisfied with Rhinoceros as a 3D modelling program. It is accurate in designing, works great with other programs eg Autocad and it has a friendly user interface

  ### 38. Great burns modeling

  ### 46. Precise modelling tool for urban designers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

The seamless transition from ArcGIS for real-time data can be exported to AutoCAD and then imported to Rhino for extrusion and layering. This is a key feature to visualize data in 3D for design purposes. The inbuilt Rhino render is good for basic rendering visualization

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

The shadows in Rhino are difficult to control and visualize. The general interface for accessing the tools is a bit tough for a beginner to navigate.
Rhino render is still primitive and the dependency on V-Ray for rendering is still prominent.

**Recommendations to others considering Rhinoceros:**

If as an urban designer, you would like to switch from SketchUp which is convenient but not dependable for precise modelling which Rhino can be relied on, functions and commands work quite similar to AutoCAD and the transition would be easier.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analysing the dearth of hospitals/medical centres in neighborhoods through GIS and then modelling the data in Rhino has been a seamless transition. Primary benefits that have been noted during this specific project is that various formats of files can be imported especially if you have to draw over a raster image.

no real control of CVs and spans(you can set it while creating the surface). Surfaces messed up when imported to a software like Alias

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick to model in it, quicker than alias. complex surfaces can be made quite easily

  ### 50. The best 3d modelling software for architects. Powerful, extensible and limitless.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Rhinoceros?**

The software can be used as a beginner, or can complete models for the most complex and experienced designer. It reveals complexity as you want it too.

The command line interface provides an incredibly efficient and quick tool for performing modelling tasks.

With additional integration with hundreds of plugins like grasshopper and ladybug, you can explore parametric and sustainable design still all from within Rhino.

**What do you dislike about Rhinoceros?**

Sometimes the performance can be lacking, as it doesn't always take full advantage of the computers capabilities. Additionally, it has some bugs relating to Make2d commands, and does not always handle interchanging with files that use meshes instead of NURBs.

Ideally the software would be more easy to import and export from with other commonly used software packages such as Illustrator, Autocad and Lumion.

**What problems is Rhinoceros solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the best tool for modelling and drawings designs. You can use it solely for 2d orthogonal drawings, or create complex 3d geometries. The flexibility and powerful commands allow you to create nearly anything.

Layouts allow you to export your drawings in a professional manner, and create drawing sets effortlessly.
