Since we started using RF-Smart Shipping we have seen the following improvements:

-Reduced errors such as incorrect item or overshipment to about once a month

-Increased speed at which we can ship by at least 5 minutes per shipment. We used to manually ship orders through NetSuite and now we can ship using the scan gun/computer

-We now have the ability to print custom labels at shipping instead of having to print them through a separate system

-RF Smart has allowed us to prevent committed orders from shipping until all shipping criteria have been met. This has allowed us to ensure quality is complete before an order is shipped among other pre-shipping tasks.

It let us keep the license plate system we've run since before NetSuite, without forcing NetSuite to do something it wasn't built for. Implementation was fast. I really appreciate the support team for RF-SMART WMS. Whenever we encounter issues like order consolidation acting up or pick plans not creating tasks as expected, they join us on calls to reproduce the problem and follow up until it's resolved. That's crucial when the warehouse is depending on timely fixes. Another thing I like is that it's native to NetSuite. There's a bit of a learning curve for setting up RF-SMART WMS. Some settings, like consolidation and how pick plans create tasks, affect each other in ways that aren't obvious. The documentation doesn't always cover these edge cases, which means testing changes often involves building test orders and seeing them through the system to understand their impact. It would be helpful if there was better visibility into how settings influence one another, a sandbox-style preview for order flow, and more real-world examples in the help docs. I find RF-SMART WMS really convenient because it's portable and easy to use. We don't have to drag carts full of parts around or manually count and enter cycle counts anymore. It's been a huge time saver, especially with issuing parts immediately after picking, which has significantly helped us as our business has grown. The time saved on picking and issuing parts is also notable, and the labels at receipt printing include sales order numbers, which ensures components are delivered promptly to the correct job, aiding inventory control. The integration with NetSuite, Zebra printers, and Honeywell scanners enhances our operations. There were some training issues around receipts particularly because there's a submit button which saves the Receipt, but then you have to hit submit again to actually create the receipt in NetSuite. We missed that the first few weeks and had a tough time figuring it out. Sometimes we have to wait a while if we need customization help with support, but nothing dramatic. Its flexibility to be configured and customised around our business processes is one of its greatest strengths.
