I like Rev-Trac's automation and visibility for the SAP change management process. Transport tracking and management. The ability to customize and add in specific request type for security which occurs monthly is useful and speeds up reviews. Sometimes there are multiple security updates from different months and this helps both internal/external communication and tracking. I'm not paying for this. I am just an external administrator who was set up the Rev-Trac central system and Web-Core and work monthly to put through changes. After set up, it feels simple to use and easy to get support for routine security changes that need to be pushed through the SAP landscape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once configured, it removes a lot of red tape associated with transporting SAP changes through environments, while still retaining necessary approvals and audit checks. It removed risk associated with overlapping changes, and easily supports project landscapes combined with BAU. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main drawback of Rev-Trac is that certain processes can feel overly complex and take more time than necessary. I’m getting inconsistent responses from the integration with ServiceNow, which makes it unreliable at times. It needs further improvements to be more stable and consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
