## About Resonant
Resonant turns your voice into the fastest input on your Mac. Dictate into Gmail, Slack, Notion, VS Code, iMessage, Linear, Arc, and 20+ other apps at 5× typing speed — in 25 languages — without a single byte leaving your machine. Everything runs locally on Apple Silicon. Unlike cloud-based dictation and transcription tools, Resonant is built privacy-first: no servers, no training on your data, no exposure. That's the baseline executives, lawyers, founders, and engineers need before they'll speak freely at a keyboard. Where Resonant earns its place in an AI-native stack is the MCP layer. Every dictation and meeting transcript becomes a queryable source for Claude, Codex, Cursor, and any agent that speaks MCP — so your voice archive becomes working memory, not a dead folder of .txt files. Adaptive tone keeps output formal in client email, casual in Slack, and technical in your IDE, automatically. Built for people who type and prompt all day and want the machine to keep up with the mouth.

**What do you like best about Resonant?**

In my day to day work, Resonant helps me keep insurance cases, requirements, and follow ups organized in one place. I use it to check case statuses, review pending requirements, and track the next steps that need attention. Having this information available in one system makes it easier to manage my workload and avoid relying on multiple spreadsheets or email threads. The system is also helpful when working with other departments because it provides clearer visibility into case progress. When a case is delayed, I can usually identify what is outstanding and determine which action is needed next.

**What do you dislike about Resonant?**

The main challenge is the learning curve. When I first started using Resonant, some screens and processes were not immediately clear, and it took time to become comfortable with the navigation. New users will probably need training and practice before they can use the platform efficiently.

**What problems is Resonant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resonant helps me solve the problem of tracking insurance cases and requirements manually. I can use it to monitor pending items, follow up on outstanding information, and keep track of where each case is in the process. This saves time and gives me better control over my workload. It also makes communication easier because case information and updates are available in a central location. The biggest benefits are improved organization, fewer missed tasks, better visibility into delays, and a more consistent process for managing insurance work.

 ### 2. Intuitive AI Insights That Make Customer Feedback Actionable

**What do you like best about Resonant?**

Resonant provides an intuitive platform for understanding customer conversations through AI-powered analysis. It automatically identifies themes, trends, and customer sentiment across large volumes of feedback, making it much easier to uncover actionable insights. The dashboards are easy to navigate, reporting is comprehensive, and the platform integrates well with existing customer experience workflows, helping teams make faster, data-driven decisions.

**What do you dislike about Resonant?**

While Resonant delivers valuable insights, configuring advanced dashboards and custom analytics can take some time for new users. I would like to see more flexibility in report customization, additional third-party integrations, and more granular controls for AI-driven categorization. Pricing may also be a consideration for smaller organizations with limited budgets.

**What problems is Resonant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Resonant, identifying patterns across customer conversations required manual reviews and spreadsheets, making the process slow and difficult to scale. Resonant automatically analyzes large volumes of feedback, groups similar issues, and highlights emerging trends in one centralized platform. This has reduced analysis time, improved visibility into customer needs, and enabled faster decisions based on real customer insights rather than manual sampling.

 ### 3. Fast, Private Meeting Transcription Without an AI Bot Joining Your Calls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nirmal K. | Manager, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**What do you like best about Resonant?**

A standout feature is its ability to transcribe meetings (Zoom, Google Meet) by capturing your computer's audio directly. This means you get full meeting notes without having an awkward "AI Notetaker Bot" join the call and announce its presence to your clients.

**What do you dislike about Resonant?**

Because it runs advanced AI audio models entirely on your local machine, your computer does all the heavy lifting. While it runs blisteringly fast on modern Apple Silicon (M-series chips), users on older Intel Macs or low-spec Windows machines will likely experience noticeable battery drain and slower transcription speeds.

**What problems is Resonant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For power users and developers, Resonant acts as a local archive for your voice memos and meetings, offering an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This allows local AI agents like Claude or Codex to securely query your transcribed voice notes directly from your hard drive.

 ### 4. Clean, Intuitive Workflow That Speeds You to a Polished Draft

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Resonant?**

What I like best about Resonant is how clean and intuitive the workflow feels. It organizes ideas in a way that makes it easy to build content without getting stuck in the details. It’s fast, simple, and helps me get to a polished draft without overthinking.

**What do you dislike about Resonant?**

The only downside is that some of the outputs feel a bit too templated, so I still need to adjust the tone to make it sound more natural. A few features also feel slightly limited, which makes certain edits take longer than expected.

**What problems is Resonant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resonant solves the problem of turning scattered ideas into a clear, structured draft. Instead of juggling notes, outlines, and rewrites, I can organize everything in one flow and get a solid starting point quickly. It saves time and makes longer writing tasks feel more manageable.

 ### 5. Natural Voice Conversations with Time-Saving Transcripts and Summaries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anish K. | Sofware Development Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Resonant?**

I like how natural the voice conversations feel and how easily Resonant handles follow-up questions. The transcripts and summaries save me a lot of time, making it much easier to review conversations and find useful insights quickly.

**What do you dislike about Resonant?**

The main thing I’d like to see improved is how Resonant handles unusual or unexpected responses. Sometimes the AI misses a bit of context and the follow-up question doesn’t feel completely relevant. It doesn’t happen often, but it can affect the flow of a conversation. I’d also like to have a little more control over the conversation flow and customize how the AI responds in certain situations. Overall, these are relatively small issues compared to the time it saves.

**What problems is Resonant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resonant helps us collect customer feedback without having to spend as much time scheduling and conducting interviews manually. It handles the conversations and follow-ups, then gives us transcripts and summaries that are easy to review. This makes it much faster to understand what customers are saying, spot common issues, and turn feedback into useful insights for our product and team.

 ### 6. Privacy-First, Effortless Dictation

**What do you like best about Resonant?**

I like that Resonant helps me keep my notes in one place for meetings and is faster than typing. I really appreciate the privacy-first approach where all models run locally on my machine. This ensures that no personal data is shared with anyone else since data processing is done on my machine. I also switched to Resonant because it offers more free features and local processing. Plus, the initial setup was super easy.
