The best thing I like about Resonant is that, without any typing, I can directly dictate my research thoughts and expert interview notes into different documentation tools. As a research analyst, I have to attend different project meetings every day and join multiple calls with stakeholders. Resonant directly captures the computer’s internal audio, which means it doesn’t act like or join as an awkward AI notetaker bot on Zoom or Google Meet. This helps maintain a natural flow during interviews and also supports data confidentiality. On top of that, the local model context protocol server securely queries through local AI agents and keeps everything smooth.

I like that I can speak naturally and get the text into the application I’m already using. The ability to dictate into Notion is particularly useful when I’m building out notes or organizing thoughts around a patent matter.

The biggest benefit for me is being able to keep talking and capture the information at the same time. It fits particularly well when I'm moving between calls, meetings, and other work where stopping to type every detail isn't practical.
