How much does Replit cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Replit pricing in 2026 starts at $25.00 and can reach $40.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Replit's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Replit pricing best suited for?

According to G2 reviewers, Replit's pricing is best suited for non-technical founders, solo entrepreneurs, and small business owners who need to rapidly prototype and deploy applications without hiring developers. The Core plan at $25/month attracts the majority of G2 reviewers from small businesses across industries including marketing, healthcare, education, and consulting. G2 reviews indicate non-coders and citizen developers extract the most value, frequently citing cost savings versus traditional development. Replit's Teams plan suits small collaborative teams needing centralized billing and access controls. Enterprise users with advanced security and compliance needs are directed toward the forthcoming Enterprise tier. Reviewers with deep coding backgrounds sometimes find alternatives like Cursor AI more cost-effective.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Replit?

Replit's free tier is limited to 3 public projects, basic workspace functionality, and restricted AI access with community-only support, making it suitable primarily for beginners exploring coding basics. Replit's paid Core plan at $25/month unlocks unlimited public and private projects, full Agent and Assistant access, Claude Sonnet 3.5 and GPT-4o models, $25 in monthly usage credits, and member support. G2 reviewers frequently cite the free tier's project cap and limited AI access as the primary drivers for upgrading. Replit's Teams plan at $40/month per user adds centralized billing, role-based access control, and private deployments for collaborative environments.

Is Replit considered good value for its pricing?

Replit's value perception is mixed but leans positive among G2 reviewers, particularly for non-technical users. Many G2 reviewers highlight extraordinary cost savings compared to hiring developers, with one mid-market reviewer estimating over $100,000 worth of business tools built for roughly $1,000 total. However, the most consistent complaint across G2 reviews is unpredictable credit consumption, where the AI agent burns through monthly credits quickly, leading to unexpected overage charges. Reviewers frequently compare Replit's pricing unfavorably to Cursor AI, noting it feels expensive relative to alternatives. The consensus is that Replit delivers strong value for rapid prototyping and MVP development, but requires careful prompt management to avoid costly billing surprises.

"Powerful AI Integration, but Limited by Daily Credits"
5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I just talk to the AI and it does what I wanted and even goes beyond what I imagined, especially with the new AI agent. Seeing the app made in real time is amazing to me. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

The daily limit really puts a limit to me, and how much cost it takes to do certain changes. Once you've used up your credits, you either keep using Replit and it charges you more or you wait next month, which limits me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hidden charges and confusing billing — be careful"
0/5
What do you like best about Replit?

The core product is genuinely good. The browser-based IDE is fast, collaborative features work well, and the AI coding assistant is helpful. For quickly prototyping and deploying projects, few platforms are as frictionless. I wanted to love Replit — the product itself deserves better than the billing practices surrounding it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

The billing system is confusing and feels designed to generate extra charges rather than help users.

When I ran out of credits, I upgraded to Teams to avoid overages. Replit never told me that my existing projects would stay in a separate workspace with separate billing. I kept working on the same project, assuming the upgrade had fixed the problem. It hadn't — I was charged $114 in overages that my upgrade was meant to prevent.

No prompt to transfer projects. No warning I was in the wrong workspace. No notification when I exceeded limits. Just charges.

Support acknowledged the confusion but refused a refund, offering $30 on a $114 problem. Cancelling subscriptions was equally frustrating — there's no clear path in the dashboard.

The UX around billing feels like a dark pattern: easy to upgrade, hard to understand what you're paying for, harder to cancel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
