The guided setup and automated recommendations have also been extremely helpful—they take a lot of the guesswork out of implementing and maintaining DMARC correctly. Previously, we frequently encountered the issue of reaching the maximum limit of 10 SPF records, but with OnDMARC, this is no longer a concern. With support from Redsift, we were able to implement DMARC correctly and have been using it successfully for years. This sometimes results in colleagues making DNS changes without consulting anyone or discussing the implications, which means OnDMARC can be overlooked. For instance, a colleague recently modified the MX records on a domain where we use MTA-STS, but the changes were not reflected in OnDMARC. As a result, a small number of external contacts were unable to send us emails for more than a day. It's important to ensure that everyone understands the potential impact when implementing OnDMARC. By implementing DMARC, our goal was to protect our domain from phishing and spoofing attempts. We also needed a solution that would allow us to have more than 10 SPF records, and OnDMARC addressed both of these needs. In addition, we have set up MTA-STS to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. This has given us greater visibility into our email traffic and helped us monitor whether others are sending emails on our behalf. As a school, we frequently communicate with parents via email, and with requirements like Google's 2025 DMARC mandate for bulk mailers, using OnDMARC also helps us ensure better email deliverability. The onboarding and integration process with OnDMARC is straightforward. The DMARC reports are extremely useful for identifying vendors that send emails on behalf of your company but lack proper email authentication. What do you dislike about Red Sift OnDMARC? The forensic reports are quite useful because they include details such as the sender, subject, and sender IP information. However, I was informed that only emails forwarded to Yahoo contain this information. This limitation is not due to Red Sift, as it depends on the receiving side. This tool is useful for identifying who is sending emails on behalf of your company. Not all organizations ensure that vendors are properly set up with email authentication methods like SPF and DKIM before using their services. Often, departments such as Marketing launch their own services without consulting IT or Security about the best practices for email authentication. OnDMARC addresses this technical debt and helps companies achieve DMARC enforcement quickly, which in turn prevents spoofing and safeguards the company's reputation. The platforms insights were invaluable for correcting past configuration issues with partners and low email volume domains. The dynamic service feature has saved me a lot of time. I especially appreciate being able to bypass the SPF IP lookup limit, which has made things much easier. Adding DKIM records without having to modify public DNS records is another excellent benefit. The dashboard and DMARC compliance reports are both outstanding, and the forensic options are quite useful as well. Customer service has been excellent; the technical support we received during setup was outstanding, and the regular check-ins with Lucy help us stay focused on our goals.
