Another advantage is that it allows grouping people according to the course they are in, so we can send messages to them at the same time. It is also a very flexible application that adapts to our needs and allows us to limit activity to our students. Best of all, Rave Alert is web-based software, so there is no need to download or install anything. Finally, Rave Alert includes a system that prevents accidental sending of communications. **What do you dislike about RAVE Alert?** The downside of this application is that it is not translated for the Hispanic community, which is a bit frustrating. The technical service does not properly resolve the questions you have; instead, it directs you to a post on the Rave website. One of the worst disadvantages it offers is that if you are a teacher, do not use the dynamic semester determination because it may delete some of your students from the list. **Recommendations to others considering RAVE Alert:** From my point of view, it is one of the most useful applications you can use. The price is not expensive and you can request a quote without obligation!!! You don't need to use a new device for Rave Alert to work properly, but you do need internet to receive the notifications. **What problems is RAVE Alert solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool has helped me to receive and send messages to a large number of people. It was also useful to me once when there was an incident in a parking lot near the downtown campus. Not only were we notified when this happened, but we were also alerted when the suspect was in custody. It is a very good tool for knowing what is happening in your workplace. ### 11. When the police station sends a notification, they use the list of people in the extract we create from the database. From a user perspective, it's a great way to keep me informed of what's going on on or near our campuses. Whether it's weather alerts, or shootings or stabbings, we are informed through Rave **What do you dislike about RAVE Alert?** There is nothing I dislike. This is a great tool to utilize for our college campus. **Recommendations to others considering RAVE Alert:** I can only speak from the perspective of working on a college campus. This is a great tool to have. There was once an incident of a stabbing in a parking garage near our downtown campus. Not only were we notified when the event happened, but we were also alerted when the suspect was in custody. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but its always nice to know what's going on in your place of work. **What problems is RAVE Alert solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem of relaying messages to a large group of people. ### 15.
