Qvistorp Grow Reviews & Product Details

Qvistorp Growth is a strategic portfolio management platform for organisations investing heavily in long-term capital projects. It gives investment committees a consistent, data-driven framework to answer three questions: which initiatives should be funded, which should wait, and which should be stopped. The problem it addresses: In many industrial companies, capital requests come from different business units in different formats and are based on different assumptions. Consolidating and comparing them can take weeks, while final decisions may depend more on how a business case is presented than on its underlying merits. Qvistorp Growth brings proposals into one environment and evaluates them using consistent criteria. How decisions are structured: Each initiative is assessed using IRVDS®, a registered methodology covering five dimensions: - Impact: contribution to corporate strategy - Risk: exposure to risk and uncertainty - Value: financial performance measured using investment metrics such as NPV, IRR and payback period, with WACC used in investment analysis - Dependencies: links between initiatives and their effects on one another - Sustainability: alignment with ESG commitments Finance, strategy, operations and sustainability stakeholders contribute to the assessment in a structured way, making investment decisions easier to explain and justify. What teams can do in the platform: - Build business cases using shared macroeconomic assumptions, such as energy prices, discount rates and carbon costs - Test individual projects and the overall portfolio using sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis and Monte Carlo simulation - Rank initiatives and identify the best-fit portfolio within budget and resource constraints - Visualise project dependencies to understand how initiatives affect one another and which can be deferred - Guide initiatives through decision gates, from idea and business case to project and asset - Compare actual results with approved plans after project delivery - Give executives an up-to-date view of portfolio performance through dashboards Where it fits: Qvistorp Growth is designed for CFOs, heads of investment and strategy, CAPEX planning teams and PMO leaders in energy and utilities, oil and gas, chemicals, automotive and manufacturing, maritime, and diversified industrial groups. It complements ERP and project management tools: those systems support execution, while Qvistorp Growth helps determine which investments to pursue. Getting started: Clients typically begin with a pilot using a selection of their own initiatives. This allows the team to evaluate the approach using real portfolio data before deciding whether to proceed with a broader rollout.
