QuickBooks Payments makes life easier by integrating seamlessly with the QuickBooks bookkeeping software. The coordination between invoicing, payments, and accounting is smooth, which means I don’t have to manually reconcile transactions. Deposits hit quickly, which is a huge benefit for cash flow management. One drawback is the processing fees, which seem quite high, particularly for larger transactions. For instance, when I made a $2,500 transfer via Venmo, QuickBooks charged me $72.75 in fees. That’s a substantial reduction from my revenue for what should be a simple payment. Although the system offers convenience, the fee structure makes me reluctant to use it for high-value transactions.
