QuickBooks Payments makes life easier by integrating seamlessly with the QuickBooks bookkeeping software. The coordination between invoicing, payments, and accounting is smooth, which means I don’t have to manually reconcile transactions. Deposits hit quickly, which is a huge benefit for cash flow management. Most importantly, it helps me keep accurate books without extra effort — everything is tracked and aligned in one system, which is critical for compliance and financial clarity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One drawback is the processing fees, which seem quite high, particularly for larger transactions. For instance, when I made a $2,500 transfer via Venmo, QuickBooks charged me $72.75 in fees. That’s a substantial reduction from my revenue for what should be a simple payment. Although the system offers convenience, the fee structure makes me reluctant to use it for high-value transactions.
