It takes quite a bit of preparation and time to set up a website. The platform does not allow you to simply jump in and start scanning hosts. So, to get new hosts into the system, you must run discovery scans consistently, and then manually add them to your scans. **What do you dislike about Qualys VMDR?** Price is huge Qulays costs depending on the number of logins and if you have more logins to check you need to buy license based on the amount of logins and spend a lot of money on a license. **What problems is Qualys VMDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Qualys Vulnerability Detection tool is an excellent solution for security audits of web applications and it searches extensively in web applications and identifies the vulnerabilities in web applications, making it a great advantage for pen-testers to conduct security evaluations. All the information needed is usually presented. **What do you dislike about Qualys VMDR?** I used another vulnerability scanner for at least 15 years. In that time, I never had a false positive. I have used Qualys for not even a year yet I have 10 false positive or insufficient information tickets. I am also not happy that Qualys has no "scan now, on demand" feature for Qualys agents installed on servers. This makes it hard to get quick feedback on remediation efforts. My other vulnerability scanner had this feature for their agent on any OS. **Recommendations to others considering Qualys VMDR:** Qualys does a solid job of detecting network vulnerabilities, and reporting on them. Need for help to get everything setup. **Recommendations to others considering Qualys VMDR:** scan results are great and clean to read. Setup is a little difficult. **What problems is Qualys VMDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spot and cleanup network vulnerabilities in real time and asset management. ### 50. They design the web app very well. **What do you dislike about Qualys VMDR?** The interface looks like it was developed back in the 90's. Just looks dated. **Recommendations to others considering Qualys VMDR:** Implement it!
