## Qatium Reviews
  ### 1. Very usefull to visualize datas and update a water model

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bastien L. | Hydraulic Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

I like to be able to visualize the data. The rendering is excellent. Negative pressures can be located very quickly, and very high pressures can be visualized. The same applies to the flows. It’s a great idea to work with MapBox.
Qatium is different from other applications and tools. This is the first time that the visualization has been so improved.
I think it is necessary to work on the model before and update the model with QGIS: GISRed + Demands in distribution networks + EPANET

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

Other information like Flow Balance will be great. Also, see the pattern of each node, sectors, ... I would like to be able to use Qatium like ModelCalibrate.com because I don’t necessarily have my sensors that are connected live (no SCADA)
I would like tools to help me to calibrate the model (in addition to data visualization): "Calibrating assistant based on historical data."

**Recommendations to others considering Qatium:**

It is an excellent software to visualize data. I don't know any other able to do that.

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve problems of low/high pressure with Qatium. I can see the direction of the flows et the main network. I can see the average level of each tank. I can save time (instead of EPANET : a bit longer sometimes to find an error...)

  ### 2. Feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hassan A. | Management Committee Member- Specialist Groups, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

guiding water utilities on the pathway to the digitalization of water sector and showing the benefits of solving critical issues in the water supply. Qatium enables the water sector to monitor and control their water infrastructure remotely in a secure manner but also enables real-time visibility that can help operate and maintain their facilities more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Qatium provides a digital model for hydraulic model of water distribution system, which can illustrate the effects of changing conditions of a system, and, among other things, display information about pipes, pumps, valves, flow, pressure and more, shown in Qatium platform using color-coded network maps, data tables and graphs.

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

It is general issue of hydraulic models. Qatium requires a ready model to use the platform. however, the accuracy and efficiency of the model are still dependent on the data that is entered. The Model is as accurate as the input data that the user feeds into them. The fundamental law in modeling is GIGO, Garbage in, garbage out. Problems with models are usually problems with data. Without real-time information, the model is always a representation of the last time you updated it, which makes it a representation of some other time in the past.

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working on the enabling environment of Qatium technology through understanding the market and water stakeholders' needs and challenges for application in the middle east region from science and policy perspectives.

  ### 3. An excellent idea

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

A different approach of having all the simulations done online without wasting your PC drive space for another software. Very nice visuals. It is user-friendly for all levels of users. It is an excellent opportunity for non-professionals to build the model and run the simulation to check against the different network actions. It could be efficient for the presentations and data sharing for the Clients without access to the expensive modeling software packages.

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

So far, the soft has limited access to the tools and the options to test it at its total capacity. As for all the new products, it takes some time to fix some bugs. However, this is just a matter of time. I would love to see a short description of the methodology of demand allocation and calculation.

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very simple and quick to create the model from shapefiles containing only the lines with the minimum attribute fields. The software quickly fixes the connectivity issues and produces the nodes wherever necessary. Very easy to assign to the online background maps by defining the suitable CRS.

  ### 4. Excellent app to visual and model water network systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Youssef B. | Ingénieur Chargé D'affaires, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

The visual aspect of the app is very good.
The app is very easy to use. The utilities operator can easily navigate their network and see how it behaves without having a solid hydraulics background.

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

I would improve the background brightness and maybe allow the user to adjust the size of the pentagrams (pressure zones).

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qatium allowes me to visualize and use all my models whenever and wherever I am. I can easily share them with my clients without having to download a single app.

  ### 5. Qatium democratizes access to hydraulic model results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saša T. | Member of the Advisory Committee , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

Qatium provides simplified and user-friendly access to hydraulic model results. This is the key step in securing ongoing return on investment in a hydraulic model. Qatium allows operators, managers, and other non-modelers to make better decisions using model results. In return, a utility will be more likely to invest in hydraulic model maintenance, improvements, and enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

Like any new product, Qatium still does not include all functionality a user of model results might need. However, the collaborative and open development platform allows the users to see the roadmap for new feature development and suggest feature priority and/or new features.

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qatium gets hydraulic model results in the hands of decision-makers. A hydraulic model is a digital twin of the system that can predict system performance under new, changed conditions. This is exactly what decision-makers need in emergency situations.

  ### 6. A new way of water distribution network modelling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dragan S. | Professor of Hydroinformatics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

The ease with which models are created and run.

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

Could not find the facility to export results.

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding the behaviour of a model and looking for deficiencies that can be eliminated. This is quite easy even for large models as the results are nicely presented and visualized.

  ### 7. Qatium review in practice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jivir V. | Technical Principal Water Assets, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Qatium?**

Visual flow paths that are very easy for clients to understand their network and visualise pinch points and areas of pressure problems.

**What do you dislike about Qatium?**

Message on Network Completion Level percentage. What checks have been made to reach a completion level percentage.

**What problems is Qatium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client visualisation of flow paths in the network to understand trunk main flow paths and capacity issues.
