## PyCharm Reviews
  ### 1. GOAT in IDE for python programming

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish D. | Quality Assurance Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about PyCharm?**

Autocompletion and auto correction feature makes it valuable feature for programming. Rich sets of plugin and library makes it versatile. The error highlight and it's graphics are the anonymous feature of this tool.Pycharm is only used with python programming and it doesn't allow any other programming language and this thing makes it more interesting.lets understand this with a simple example if we have one target then we are focused and can achieve it. If we have multiple targets then it creates distraction.its ideal tool for python programming.

**What do you dislike about PyCharm?**

As of now I haven't feel anything bad about this tool.

**What problems is PyCharm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create our virtual environment and it is isolated with any other environment and application As a result there is no dependency and impact of one environment to other environment.

It is useful when project is small.

**What do you dislike about PyCharm?**

I have been using Pycharm for years now I became a professional programmer working on Pycharm however as my project got bigger and bigger pycharm got less user-friendly to use like finding variables declared where all they are used should be highlighted on the right side with visible color.
Handling big code is difficult whenever we highlight some variable it should highlight everywhere but it doesn't work.
Degbuger UI is messy and I cannot find it user-friendly.

**What problems is PyCharm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me in debugging small pieces of code like I hold my big project in Visual Studio and small functions i build in Pycharm i find it easy when things are small. I love coding in Pycharm and i been using it for years now cannot leave it even I use other IDE.

**What do you like best about PyCharm?**

I have been using pycharm professional for more than 4 years now, and i dont think i will switch soon.
First of all it is a complete solutions for all your development needs.
As it is a part of the jetbrains ecosystem, we get seemly interagtions with jetbrains Space, youtrack and teamcity.
Integrations with CI/CD tools is seemless, so are the integrations with docker and other services.
It has almost same number of extentions avaialble as VScode.
It has great static code anaylisys and other amazing features like endpoint testing, inbuilt database explorer and great git management tools.

**What do you dislike about PyCharm?**

The learning curve is a little long, one needs to take some time out to explore all the features to be able to use it to its full potential.

**What problems is PyCharm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using pycharm professional for more than 4 years, it has save a lot of time for me as i get endpoint testing inbuilt , also get database integration inbuilt ,
venv support and python package explorer to manage packages.
Ive onboarded my team to use the community edition which has almost all the features required.

**What do you like best about PyCharm?**

As a student who utilises PyCharm for coding, I can attest to the fact that this potent Integrated Development Environment has a lot of positive aspects (IDE). PyCharm's code completion tool is excellent. By recommending code completions as I type, it aids in my ability to write code more quickly and with fewer errors. Additionally, it indicates issues in real-time, allowing me to find errors before I even attempt to run my code. PyCharm has debugging solid facilities. I can easily establish breakpoints and step through my code line by line, which helps me quickly find and correct any problems.

**What do you dislike about PyCharm?**

There are a couple aspects of PyCharm that I find to be less than ideal as a student who uses it for programming. I should point out that these are very minor flaws that have little impact on PyCharm's general usability and functionality. The full-featured Professional Edition of PyCharm is extremely pricey, especially for students on a limited budget, despite the fact that the Community Edition is free. PyCharm's user interface is typically straightforward and adaptable, but there are a few places where it falls short. For instance, it could be challenging to alter the IDE's visual style beyond simple colour schemes.

**What problems is PyCharm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a coder who uses PyCharm, I've discovered that this Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is resolving a number of issues I run across when writing Python code. The features of PyCharm's code completion and error highlighting are among its most important advantages. By offering completions and indicating mistakes as I write code, these tools help me save time and help me prevent mistakes. Also, PyCharm's potent debugging features are crucial for swiftly locating the root of any code problems. PyCharm lets me step through the code line-by-line to find and correct any mistakes when my code is not functioning as intended.
A crucial component for any programmer is PyCharm's smooth interface with version control systems like Git. I'm able to control code modifications and work more efficiently with other devs as a result. I can keep track of my work and stay organised since PyCharm lets me see who made changes, when they were made, and what the changes were. The refactoring features in PyCharm are also quite useful for modifying the way my code is organised. I can quickly rename variables, extract methods, and other things with PyCharm. Compared to manually modifying the code, this saves me a tonne of time.

  ### 37. PyCharm is the most comprehensive IDE for Python programming.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about PyCharm?**

PyCharm is a pretty great IDE for Python programming. It's got all the bells and whistles I need to get my work done. Built-in support for Django and Git (and a whole lot more) make my day-to-day programming easy and helps to detect errors and highlight potential issues in your code as I go, which is helpful for catching mistakes early on.

One of the things that really sets PyCharm apart is its extensibility - you can add custom plugins and features to make it work just the way you want it to. Plus, it has some really powerful debugging capabilities that can help you find and fix bugs.

Overall, PyCharm is a great choice for Python developers who want a powerful and versatile IDE that can help them work smarter, not harder.

**What do you dislike about PyCharm?**

PyCharm can sometimes use a lot of resources, especially if you're working on multiple projects concurrently. It has improved quite a bit in recent versions, so it isn't as much as an issue anymore.

**What problems is PyCharm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifies my software engineering tasks. Built in support for Django and other extensibility makes my job 100 times simpler. Code completion and syntax highlighting are also super helpful.

**What do you dislike about PyCharm?**

Sometimes, running more than 100 lines of code on my new laptop crashes. I have to cut the tab, and then again, I open it so that it runs smoothly. It is too heavy IDE, which sometimes slows down the laptop.

**What problems is PyCharm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using PyCharm made it easy for me to maintain a large project and run on this IDE. Also, I use this because it allows the terminal to see the output in the same IDE without going to the python shell to see the output of the code.
