Cost,Complexity,Customization is tiring, Support and TRaining modules are not quire clear.Data Security needs a look

**What do you like best about protel PMS?**

What is best about this software is that you can generate report on almost everything which makes it easy for you to do analysis.

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

It is expensive as compared to is rivals in the market.

It is one of the best software for international hotels. It also has great language translation.

I like the interface where you can see inhouse arrivals and departures on one page

It's not very straightforward to new users.

its solves a lot of problems and it benefits having all departments integrated in one PMS

This PMS has been a life saver, it has a vast amount of options and it is very easy to use this platform. It has a lot of data points and all the hotel team members are able to use this efficiently

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

More functions/reports should be added. We have not seen any real changes since we started using this.

**What problems is protel PMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protel Air offers everything our small Resort needs - the Cabin planning is easy to use and the Support is responsive and efficient. It is cloud base and this was one of the main reason to decide for it

**What do you like best about protel PMS?**

Protel PMS offers best experience for their guest.
Best thing is they provide both cloud as well as on premise version to keep track of everything.
They have so much to offer like digital booking , invoicing etc.

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

The most dislike about Protel PMS is sometimes they took too long to respond to there customers as customers got irritated. 
So this is not the way to deal , if someone is running a big forum.

Protel PMS have very good front display service as it is very easy to use .
Second most appreciable feature is language translation, they provide almost every language translation so that customers can relax .

Just dragging the booking to required date if extending or shortening the stay. The room displayed for everyone

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

Does not allow to sync with the point of sale system, in terms of room charges. You have to post charges manually

You can track your revenue from the beginning of your business, that is if you started with it.

Most helpful things is that it is optimized for all kinds of function in hotel industry

Its a great software but lags a bit. But i still enjoy using it.

It is solving all the problems i faced while using the previous hotel software. Right now using this software made all my hotel daily tasks easy

The landing or home page that has all the Arrivals, In-house and Departure, altogether in one page / screen

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

Without a mouse, you can't do much, the Tab key on the keyboard is useless, updating rates is a bit complicated

It is good for sorting out the Arrivals / Departure

I like the Navigator as you have all the info just one click away

I think they should better manage the credit card information

**What do you like best about protel PMS?**

The best thing about Protel is that it is intuitive, it is very simple, therefore in a short time you can be handling it at an expert level. This is a clear advantage, since, when incorporating new staff into the company, the use of this PMS will not be a problem.

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

I am unhappy with this PMS for several reasons:
- First, its slowness, with this program, forget about being efficient. To open anything can take a little while, which is not pleasant at all.
- The listings: now there is a new issue, Error 507, which appears when we want to print a report in PDF, it freezes and it's impossible.
- Another little issue is the "Printing Records Not Responding" which does the same as the previous one with the difference that it locks up the entire system and you have to restart. It should be mentioned that this is a hassle when doing the end-of-day closing, since reports are generated during the closing that need to be printed and it freezes, completely messing up the closing.
- Another problem: not being able to search for arrivals on a past day, as it takes into account the current situation of the hotel and those reservations are already "out," which makes it a hassle when you have to look for a past reservation.
- The inefficiency of the Technical Service, you can send a ticket, besides the way to do it is super complicated, they will take quite a while to solve it for you.

**Recommendations to others considering protel PMS:**

It is necessary to take into account the deficiencies of the program. One point to consider is that for beginners, it will not be a problem to start using this program.

The management of reservations, cash register audits, invoicing, etc. You can do many things, but in that way.

**What do you like best about protel PMS?**

The best thing about Protel is its simplicity, it is very intuitive, anyone can learn to use it in a short time without much effort, which is quite good, as in a short time you can be handling it at an expert level.

**What do you dislike about protel PMS?**

There are several things I dislike about this program, such as its tendency to crash or lose connection, which makes it impossible to perform the most routine tasks like doing a check-out, forcing you to close and reopen the PMS to "solve" it temporarily. 
Another issue is that it doesn't allow you to do two things at once, meaning you can't minimize windows, so if you're doing something and a client comes to check-in, you have to close everything and then start over when you can. 
It also doesn't let you see the arrivals on a specific day in the past, as it considers the current situation and the program interprets them as departures. 
Another drawback is that it slows down a lot, even more so when the internet connection is not very stable.

**Recommendations to others considering protel PMS:**

The best thing about Protel, as I mentioned earlier, is the ease of learning; it is very intuitive and ideal for people who are still inexperienced with this type of program. The problem is that as you use it, you start to realize that many things are missing that would make its use faster and more effective. We cannot forget that much of the time we spend with the program, we have a client in front of us, and the longer they wait at the counter, the worse their experience will be with the department in question.

The PMS allows us to currently manage reservations, income, forecasts, reception and management tasks, sales, etc.
