It does the work. They are ready to use out of the box. Drag/drop and wire them in the application would speed up the development. The documentations are nice enough. ### 2. I like the new bootstrap like the theme but it could be better for sure. Also, the mobile version just can't get the grid working so nicely. **What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem by building business CRUD applications quickly, so Telerik allows us to get a complete product in probably just one day without having to be the most talented programmer. It's pretty amazing how much their product can do with how little effort. ### 3. An amazing customer support that grants you a solution not matter which problem are you tring to solve. **What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?** Sometimes can be a little frustrating because it forces in a strong way how the things are done if you want to use their controllers and the documentation is not always as useful as it should be. **Recommendations to others considering Progress Telerik:** You can use it in the free demo and check if it covers your problems. Once you start using it, is hard to return to the native controllers. **What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?** UI problems that resulted too much complex to resolve with the native tools. Other problems that we resolve constantly with this tool is the conversion of the whole page in a PDF format for creating things like labels or bar codes. ### 4. If they turned out to be useful to you, it may not be considered too expensive if you do not have many developers working on the mobile application as it'll take a tremendous amount of time to develop and maintain those UI controls, and the cost may well worth it. **What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Telerik UI for Xamarin adds 70+ UI controls for developing cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin. We are able to display data in easy to read formats like tables, charts, and graphs and the Telerik UI framework makes this so easy that almost anyone with some programming knowledge could learn how to do it. **What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?** They guarantee a 24 hour response time to support tickets but 50% of the time they respond after that. Not a huge issue but it would be nice if a credit was given when they miss their target response time. **What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Great data visualization for front-end users. ### 7. UI is very professional. I have used them for over 10 years, and love the product overall. **What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?** You don't have to lock yourself into Telerik components, but that is generally what happens. There is a cost in that the components are usually fairly large to support so much functionality. Finally, the per developer licensing cost adds up quickly for smaller organizations. **Recommendations to others considering Progress Telerik:** Make sure you're ready for the cost. For small companies, the yearly cost (even though perpetual license, but cost includes support and updates) is very high in some ways for smaller dev shops. **What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?** We delivered our products to market faster because we were able to create a clean, consistent UI with advanced components very quickly and easily. ### 11.
