"Powerful and Flexible Reporting Tool with Excellent Support"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

We are using Telerik reporting last 1 year. we use Telerik reporting for crystal report migration. Initially we face couple of challenges because we are new to this technology but after checking Telerik Documentation and support we got from Telerik team we completed the couple of report.

I like most here Telerik Support by 24 hours always get the reply from the with proper solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

1.Accessibility Documentation Could Be Clearer – Features like Enable Accessibility and ViewerRenderToolTips are available but making them work effectively with screen readers (such as NVDA) and different PDF viewers (like Adobe Reader vs. Foxit) often requires trial and error. More complete and practical examples would help a lot.

2.Inconsistent Tooltip Support Across Viewers – Tooltips (via AccessibleDescription) show correctly in Foxit PDF Reader but not in Adobe Reader or most browser-based PDF viewers. This inconsistency can create confusion for end users expecting uniform behavior.

3.CanShrink Property in PageHeaderSection – The CanShrink property does not behave the same way in PageHeaderSection as it does in ReportHeaderSection. Even when content is hidden based on conditions, the section height remains, which affects layout. Aligning its behavior with the ReportHeaderSection would provide more layout flexibility. "Powerful and Reliable Tools for .NET Development"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Progress Telerik offers a comprehensive set of well-documented, high-quality UI components that are easy to integrate and customize. The controls are visually appealing, perform well, and the frequent updates ensure compatibility with the latest frameworks. Their technical support is responsive and knowledgeable, which helps resolve issues quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

While Progress Telerik offers great value, the learning curve for some advanced features can be steep, and the documentation, though extensive, could provide more real-world usage examples. Additionally, the licensing cost may be high for smaller teams or individual developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Support, but a Slightly Steep Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

I really like that there are plenty of usage examples for each component, which makes it easier to get started. The implementation with Angular is also very smooth, and I use it daily in my projects. It’s very rare that I can’t find a component I need — there seems to be a solution for almost every use case. However, if I need to customize something beyond the basic examples, I usually need to reach out to support. I haven’t really used third-party integrations yet, so I can’t comment on that. What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

Some components have a slightly steep learning curve, especially when it comes to more advanced customizations. Also, the price can feel a bit high for smaller teams or projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great component suite, I use the data grid in all my apps"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

The data grid is amazing. It's easy to setup in any language I've used and saves me so much time. The input controls are ok, some are no different than HTML controls but others are more robust. It would be nice if some controls were more customizable but overall they are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

The licensing. Each project has had different requirements for implementing the license. Sometimes it's a file included with the project. Other times it's a pretty complex process to have it included in a deployment pipeline. I think someone needs to look at how licensing is applied and make it even easier than the controls you supply.

I also find the examples are a little simple. It would be nice if you had an example application that showcased real world examples of how your controls can be used. Maybe have 3-4 different ways ranging from simple to complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Progress Telerik's suite of controls are great and their support team can be very helpful"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Telerik's products and support are quite good. They have a large suite of controls that we use and when you engage their support, you don't have to wait too long for a response. They have extensive documentation, so it is relatively easy to get started and to add controls you may not have used in the past in an existing project. I really like the fact that their support often creates sample projects for you to test out their solution to your problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

Like most things, if you want something very out-of-the-box, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes, Telerik has the solution and engaging their support early-on has been very beneficial. Other times, it is a known issue or limitation, and you can tell it is not likely to be fixed in the near future. It is disappointing to get that news, but at least their support is very responsive and lets you know quite quickly. Sometimes they have a control that you find really useful but unfortunately it is not used by many and so does not get the attention you would like (in terms of making it better and easier to integrate into your project). "Effortless Controls and Real-World Examples Make It Stand Out"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

The ease of use in terms of their controls and tools. They also tend to have very realistic examples that can be applied to real-world situations. I also like the technical support over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

They have a lot of tools and suites of tools. It can be confusing to know which bundle or bundles to choose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I use the product in almost all my projects"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

thethe vastness of available controls and the quantity of guides and examples to view both for web forms and for the ASP part Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

The first disadvantage for users is the price of the suite. For a developer working alone, it's a bit high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A solid suite of native components with good coverage for common UI needs"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

Kendo provides a wide range of flexible components available across the most popular web frameworks, and they integrate seamlessly into our Vue 3 applications. Whenever I’ve run into issues and reached out to customer support, they’ve been quick to respond within the promised timeframe and provided clear, helpful solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

My biggest issue with Kendo-Vue right now is the broken event type support. As a TypeScript user, I’m not a fan of being forced into using a generic catch-all for event handlers. The documentation also feels crowded and difficult to navigate, with examples that are often too basic to cover real-world scenarios. Additionally, the website could use a refresh — the layout feels bulky, the fonts are oversized, and the high-contrast color scheme (dark blue/white/red) is a bit straining on the eyes. What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

The vast amount of great controls. Telerik is easy to integrate and use. Support is fast and able to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

Sometimes even simple adjustments or additions in components take long to implement or are not implemented at all, even when there are various votes or missing key functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Coding Made Simple with Telerik"
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

I like how easy and shorter it makes for me to do simple code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

I dislike the help articles on the website. I need more visual examples and code. Especially for first time user, I feel like the documentation needs a lot of improvement to help me incorporate Telerik into my code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
