What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?

We’ve used Prevue for eight years and it’s become an integral part of our hiring process. The results—particularly the visual graph—give us a clear, actionable view of a candidate’s traits and cognitive strengths, which helps us focus our interviews and make more informed decisions. Once we fine-tuned our benchmarks, the assessment consistently highlighted the traits that align with success in our roles. While some applicants struggle with the timed section of the assessment, we see value in how they handle that pressure—it offers insight into their ability to follow instructions and manage focus, both of which are essential in our field. What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?

As for drawbacks, they’re minor: the narrative portion of the report can feel a bit wordy or formulaic at times, and the interview guide could be more concise. What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?

New posting platform created and constantly struggling with Locations. 4 jobs for one property aren't visible on any job sites. I was pretty much told oh well. Keep watching to see if they connect. This is not acceptable for anyone trying to hire team members asap. Day 4 and still don't have jobs visible on Indeed. Not the first time Prevue has had connection issues. What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?

I really liked the off the shelf "soft skills" assessment that helps provide a view into the candidate's personality and abilities, The real winner for me was the ability to create custom questions for "hard skills". What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?

This is a lttile "picky" - but the filters as a little "funky" - when you create a filter on a list of candidates, it loses the filter after yo click into a candidate and return. I like the insight I receive, during the interview process we ask questions to learn more about how a potential candidate will perform or act in a role and the Prevue assessment will often confirm those insights and help us identify additional questions to ask. it is easy to send to candidates and Josh is always happy to help if I have a questions or concerns. What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?

The insight we have gotten on candidates has been so helpful in creating a robust recruiting process. We are able to feel more confident that we really know who we are hiring and ensure that we are hiring the best fit.

We have also been able to use it in learning & development for our current employees. It has served as the foundation for development plans of first level supervisors/managers, so we can help them grow in leadership.

Customer Support from Prevue is by far the best of any vendor we have worked with. Our Customer Success Manager, William Lewis, has been so attentive, helpful, and patient with us as we roll out Prevue. Meetings with him have been so productive, but also enjoyable. He keeps an eye on our account and reaches out regularly to make sure things are going well. He also was so patient with many of our managers during the many benchmarking meetings before I felt confident doing benchmarking myself. We have often made the comment that we want to find people like Will to hire for our software division. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?

We don't feel as confident in the questions the assessment asks to reach motivation results. The questions don't seem to capture all the ways someone could be motivated by people, data, or things. For instance, it seems that the questions used to guage people motivation are almost all around physically taking care of someone.

Benchmarking can be a painstaking and teidious process due to needing to benchmark every single position in the organization during implementation. I'm not sure this can really be helped without sacrificing quality, but just a sidenote.

I would love to see more reports or ways that we can use this for employees after hire. Maybe more reports around development? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
