We had all of the candidates take the assessment but didn't look at the results until after their initial interview. The candidate we all agreed on after interviewing, had a few issues come up on the assessment, that we weren't able to assertain from the interview. We called the candidates references and their previous supervisor and sure enough, those issues came up in their job performance at previous employers. The things that were missing at the start that other platforms had, they have been slowly working on adding even better versions of. All in all we love it and we love the service from the team! The abilities section should be updated (why are we assessing shapes?). The report is also a bit long and wordy. The interview questions could use a lot of work (I don't use these questions). It provides good instructions to them and alerts them several times if they are choosing too many middle of the road answers. It is amazing how many times people read their own results and say that they are very accurate to who they are. The assessments are fact based, easy to understand and give us good insight into how a person might work. You are able to customize it to what works for you and we are able to send unlimited assessments which makes us use it often. It gives you possible interview questions to ask if you need them. Our account manager is always available to jump on a call with us to explain something, help us build a new benchmark, etc. It didn't take long for us to implement and they continue to enhance their features year after year. We truly love using this tool at our organization. **What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?** We pretty much like everything about the tool. It was hard to think of anything. The only thing would maybe be that the Spanish translation sometimes doesn't read exactly like it would in English. Additonally, some of the testing is very time consuming. We are able to see what an individual's strengths and weaknesses are. If a person prefers to work on their own or in a group. The emotional state of a person is also assessed. Whether they are relaxed, excitable, tolerant, or highly emotional. We use the assessment to help us ask further questions about how they would handle situations that appear to be challenging to them. **What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?** The website has been a bit glitchy in the past and getting help from any human in the company can be challenging. **What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?** The assessment has the ability to reveal some characteristics that may need to be further explored before hiring them. One obvious example would be of an individual who refused to take the assessment. This was a huge red flag and we did not proceed with this person. ### 31. Hiring is a absoluty and total crapshoot. Any ability to learn more about a candidate during the recuriting and interviewing process is key to a successful hire and key to a successfull, long-term employee. Prevue Assessment provides you insights beyond what people say in an interview . . . summarizing what they *can* do, what they *want* to do and *how* they will approach doing it for you. We have been using Prevue as a company for over 15 years and have build a library of successful and unsuccessful employee experiences that have helped us craft job-specific results profiles that guide us in our decision-making process *during* the interview process and *before* an offer is made. It also provides hiring managers with specific questions to ask candidates during the interview process based on the results of their Assessment. This tool is *invaluable* and you should be using it already. Seriously. Get. This. Tool. **What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?** Initially, we were not able to import some aging Prevue Assessments that we had accomplished through a third-party partner before going direct as a client of Prevue. This was troublesome as we could not overlay those tests with the balance of our results. However, the PA team was able to import then and now they are part of our account and part of our employee decisioning! **What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a digital agency our pace is fast and an employee's learning curve is never over. Gaining an understanding of what we call, internally, a candidates "learning agility" within the *Abilities* portion of the test is very valuable to us. We've found that even if a candidate is out of range on a given band, with a little investigation we often have a very productive conversation with the candidate. Prevue has leveled up our interviews! It was super easy to implement Prevue. Took just a couple of hours to train the managers to use it and ever since it's been a blast. Taylor Epp is a great partner. The customer support we've received has been outstanding. We use Prevue multiple times a week since we are a retailer filling many positions all the time. We don't currently use Prevue with any integration but would be very interested in doing so. **What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?** I wish we could compare candidates side by side. It can be hard to download multiple packets at once, so we tend to have to do it one by one. I wish there were a way to run multiple reports to find the best fit a candidate has for a position. Overall great experience and I recommend Prevue. **What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the summer of 2022 we addressed issues regarding higher-than-usual turnover and mis-hires. Pruvue, when compared to a control group, cut our 90-day turnover by 50%. A fantastic result. ### 34. I like that Prevue also gives recommended questions to ask candidates for the next interview based on how their assessment results turned out. This is key when recruiting and takes out some leg work in terms of relevant/tailored questions to ask each individual candidate. **What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?** I'm not sure that I have a full understanding on how to read some of the results from the assessments that are sent out. It would be nice to have more fluid trainings with our account manager to better understand some of the other features of the tools as well. **What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prevue is taking the guesswork out of job-fit and work-fit for us for candidates. We create our ideal profile around the position we are hiring for and can run different reports to see if they align with our pre-determined profile. They are professional, knowledgeable, and provide support at every step. I felt prepared to use the assessments for various positions in my organization. The PrevueHub platform is easy to use and navigate. Though all candidates take the same assessment (or sections of it), benchmarks are captured for each position which analyze data from supervisors & top performers to create an ideal candidate profile. This data-backed information increases my confidence that we are making sound hiring decisions, rather than looking at a score report with no context. I also enjoy that there are reports available not only for hiring, but for career development and team fit. **What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?** Candidates frequently report feeling confused or intimidated by the assessments. They don't understand what words/numbers/shapes have to do with their success in the role. Additionally, the labels for the Personality facets can be a bit misleading, so supervisors must be well-trained to read the reports. **What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Prevue reduces our time to hire by eliminating redundant interviews. It is more efficient for us to assign a Prevue Assessment to gather information about a candidate before scheduling an interview which takes time and resources.
