Sometimes it is challenging to stay up-to-date on patients' labs and chart updates. This application allows me to stay current with the latest updates when rounding. It is well-organized and easy to use. It doesn't try to mimic the computer/desktop version of the chart, but it offers the information I need in an organized, well-thought-out design. It is helpful for me so that I can be helpful for my patients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about PowerChart Touch? I dislike that sometimes the layout can be a little confusing based on what I'm used to seeing in the desktop version of the chart. I can sometimes get lost or click on the wrong tab. This isn't that bad of a flaw because it is something you become familiar with as you use the application more frequently. I believe the only other complaint would be that it can lag and this can be extremely frustrating especially during rounding when you need instant access to patient information. Recommendations to others considering PowerChart Touch: I would recommend spending some time on YouTube learning from tutorials other than the basic set-up guide upon opening the application. I am able to provide more accurate, up-to-date information to my patients, care team, and other providers. It improves communication and efficiency with patient interactions. It also helps me to keep charts and documentation current. This is vital as it helps me do more for my patients and less in administrative tasks. Very easy to use and was accessible at all times. Allowed for multiple employees to access information on patients at any given moment or time and submit documentation in a timely manner. "Truly a timesaver" 4.5/5 What do you like best about PowerChart Touch? I really enjoy having access to such a mobile device for reviewing patient information. Unlike having to use other larger portable devices, PowerChart Touch allows me to have patient charts literally at the tip of my fingertip on my tablet. It allows for easy viewing of documentation, results, etc. Most importantly, it allows for more time spent with patients instead of rushing in and out. It’s essential for modern medicine. I like that it allows for easy charting on each patient and has preset text options that make wording easier. I dislike how much downtime PowerChart has (at least once weekly for a few hours). Inability to search info on sidebar (SBAR, patient information, prior documentation) when a note is pulled up. Instead, you have to save your note/assessment, find the info, then reopen and modify the note/assessment.
