It gives me the freedom to adapt my sessions according to the complexity of each task, alternate between blocks of concentration and strategic breaks. I like that also works as a productivity log as it helps me review how far I've progressed on my tasks and if a readjustment is needed. **What do you dislike about PomoDone App?** Although PomoDone App boasts great compatibility with other tools sometimes tasks created or edited in Todoist take longer than expected to be reflected but after consulting with support I managed to fix it. **What problems is PomoDone App solving and how is that benefiting you?** PomoDone App suits my work style and has changed the way I organize my weekly responsibilities by allowing me to establish a sustainable rhythm; with its Pomodoro–based approach I can manage varied tasks more efficiently and with less mental fatigue. ### 2. I like that you can have different set-ups for different tasks too - some things require longer flow states than others. **What do you dislike about PomoDone App?** it's quite fiddly to set up - the set up of custom breaks isn't particularly intuitive at first, but it's not mega complex to figure out. Everything else was pretty self explanatory - really the only nags were working out how the timesetup worked. **What problems is PomoDone App solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am much better at keeping track of time and remembering to drink water because of it! It offers a pretty basic functionality, really but it can be adapted to lots of different tasks. It's not a reinvention of the wheel but it has definitely improvved my life quality! If you time it right you can time the breaks so that it syncs with a chore like laundry to break up your day! ### 7. I also love how many features it's packed with that help you remember your breaks. Plus, you can set goals for how much time you want to spend working, and review performance later. I love that it has a desktop app. Plenty of pomo apps out there for mobile and chrome extensions. This one takes it a bit further, and youd be suprised how far you can take the functionality More than anything though I want to give a shout out to Alex. He spent almost 4 hours going back and forth with me to figure out how to sync my breaks to smart home lighting. These features are modular and it can really change the way you look at a simple pomo app. That's incredible! He really does care about keeping his people happy and that means a LOT to people like me. Especially when you consider how inexpensive the subscriptions are, just do it! **What do you dislike about PomoDone App?** The app sometimes takes a long time to sync with Asana. Nitpicking here though, shouldnt cause any problems unless you need a 100% live sync, in which case youd probably just use the Asana web app. The UI / UX feels bootstrapped, but it's functional. I like that I can change the time of each pomodoro at my whim, which is important since each activity is different and must be adapted as such. I can synchronize my tasks through several devices, and keep track of everything I've been doing so far. Its interface is also very nice. **What do you dislike about PomoDone App?** When you use the application for free, it is a bit annoying to receive notification every so often to enjoy all its features with the paid version. The application on Android is a bit buggy. **Recommendations to others considering PomoDone App:** You do not know how productive you really are until you use an application like this. I recommend PomoDone since it can not only be used for the personal area, but can be implemented in organizations during working hours. **What problems is PomoDone App solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pomodone has become one of my most essential productivity tools. This one wasn't overly complicated, has some nice organization features, and doesn't get in the way of open windows on my screen. The free version of Pomodone had what I needed. I like how tasks are orgainzied by date and I can see what is coming due easily. **What do you dislike about PomoDone App?** You have to log into your pomodone account to change what boards are visible in Trello. It would be nice to have this automatically updated based on what boards are opened or closed. **Recommendations to others considering PomoDone App:** I have not tried the additional features of the paid version. If I needed them I would not mind paying for it because the subscription is cheap. The free version does what I need it to. The link with Trello is not complete. You have to create tasks in Pomodone and they will appear in Trello. It doesn't pick up what is already in Trello. However if tasks are moved from one list to another they changes do synch in either software. **What problems is PomoDone App solving and how is that benefiting you?** I started using a pomodoro timer to stay focused on work tasks. But, I didn't have a good way to track how much time I spent on a single task or a project overall. This allowed me to see both. I have been using Trello to track my own project work.
