We had ten digital reader boards that were operating on Samsung's Banner platform. Samsung notified us that they were dropping that platform and that we would have to transition to another company. They offered a recommendation on a company that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars and it did not look user friendly. Our local sign company recommended that we give Play Digital Signage a try. After reaching out to them the created a guide to help us with the transition and took care of us through all of the steps. Their platform is much easier to use than the Banner platform and we could not be more happy with the move to Play Digital Signage. I have already recommended them to another company in the same situation!!!! They also have a more robust list of tools that help us manager our boards, including notifications if there is an issue and a live view of what is playing. The pricing is far better than what Samsung offered as an option so this transition was basically a win on all accounts! Right now, there are no built-in AI tools to help summarize long medical texts or generate captions for our news feed. We have to do that manually before uploading. No long loading times – everything runs really fast here. I can implement changes with one click: just publish, and the effect is immediately visible. I don't have to go through multiple menus, adjust something somewhere, exit, publish, and then switch back to the template. In my opinion, the template system is very well done. There is a main page, and for everything else, additional templates can be created, which can then be combined on the main page. This keeps the overall structure very clear, and the work continues to be simple and swift. Additionally, there is a large selection of modules.
