In the iteration metrics, it’s difficult to filter by work item type. I want only features, stories, and bugs to be included, but it also pulls in test cases, test steps, and similar items, which can make the metrics inaccurate at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Plandek helps solve issues related to team health during an iteration, including velocity, capacity constraints, how well the team is performing, and how much workload the team can realistically take on in a sprint. The features are solid. It’s easy to navigate, and setting things up is straightforward — you don’t get lost in the process. Clean, simple, and it gets the job done. I also tried their customer support once — it was responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plandek?

Maybe just the default landing page after login — it brings me to the Workspaces view, which can get overwhelming when there’s a long list of teams. The way it’s grouped by Business Line, Product, and Team could be cleaner. I often have to scroll or scan left to right just to find a team, even though there’s a Search field. Plandek is strong on metrics — but metrics only show performance.

It offers an impressive range of delivery metrics that paint a clear picture of team performance — cycle times, deployment frequency, lead times, and more. These are great for tracking flow and spotting bottlenecks.

But where Plandek falls short is in capturing Agile maturity — within teams or across the organization.

Agile maturity is more than just delivering fast. It’s about mindset, adaptability, and continuous learning. It would be valuable if Plandek could integrate maturity assessments — like Agile health checks or NPS — to show not just how fast teams are going, but how well they're growing. "Powerful Delivery and Engineering Metrics Made Easy!"

What do you like best about Plandek?

Plandek lets us track a number of key delivery and engineering metrics through an easy to use interface.

We frequently look at sprint predictability metrics (every sprint) to help our product teams understand velocity and identify areas for improvement.

Implementing new dashboards and metrics is straight forward and integrating with the Deployment API has also been good with the excellent help from customer support.

Plandek provides great metrics around our Agile sprint delivery system in Azure Devops. The integration between the two systems is flawless so far and provides a great backdrop, turning raw DevOps data into meaningful stats, helping us improve predictability and qulaity across the team. "Useful way of viewing team velocity"

What do you like best about Plandek?

I like using Plandek to view my team's velocity and the breakdown of when stories come into a sprint and when items are completed. Shows a good breakdown of stories in the sprint at the start vs stories brought into the sprint part way through.

Use it a couple of times a week around sprint planning and look back at it during retro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plandek?

We use Plandek with Azure DepOps but we use test plans extensively. These test plans show up in the number of tickets in the sprint and are created during sprints. This causes the views by 'Tickets' to be unusable (we are only able to use the views by Story Points).

The metrics of elapsed time include non-working days (weekends) which skews the results a bit. Metrics can be artificially massaged by not setting stories to in progress until a Monday which isn't great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
