Plandek is a leading software development analytics tool (also known as a Developer Productivity Insight (DPI) platform), that enables engineering teams to drive engineering productivity and ROI as they transition to agentic ways of working.   Plandek uses unused data signals from existing DevOps tooling, coupled with qualitative engineer feedback, to provide new intelligence to improve foundational engineering processes and accelerate the cost-effective use of AI tooling. Plandek is a critical AI implementation tool for CTOs and their management teams - at a time when 'tokenmaxxing' is over and CTOs are grappling with the need to realize real productivity and ROI gains, in the face of rocketing token spend (so called 'tokenomics'). Recognizing the magnitude of the transformational change challenge, Plandek is unique in offering market-leading software (the Plandek DPI platform); proven frameworks (like RACER™ and the 4 Pillars of Engineering Productivity) and deep domain expertise to help clients realize rapid business benefit as they rapidly adopt AI tooling. Plandek’s frameworks have been developed in collaboration with clients and research teams over several years. Plandek is particularly active in the private equity space, working with PE value creation teams and PE portfolio companies across the U.S. and EMEA. With offices in the UK and US, Plandek is used by more than 2,500 engineering teams worldwide across the private and public sectors. Plandek holds numerous G2 badges and is recognized as the leading Niche Player in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Developer Productivity Insight Platforms 2026. And a top global vendor in Gartner’s DevOps VSM Market Guides, 2020, 2022, 2023; SEI Market Guide 2024; and 2025 DPI Guide.
