**What do you like best about Pixa?**

A great advantage of pixa, we can easily store all the photos in a single site in the cloud, easy to use. You have the ability to tag the image you want, its compatibility with all formats is excellent. You can save files from different programs for design. It is free and can be of commercial use although I believe that due to certain changes left the market and are directing to another site called bright frog. They are sending you to use shorter versions. Thank you for sharing information in your program for 5 years as a user.

**What do you dislike about Pixa?**

I have nothing to say, your previous images are the best.

**Recommendations to others considering Pixa:**

I know that there are different software for photo storage, many are free but that is the best choice for you. Pixa is one of the best.

**What problems is Pixa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this tool to extract images as well as store them share them. Sort the images and by listing them it is easier to find what we are looking for.

  ### 3. Pixa is great for photon file storage

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Pixa?**

I like Pixa because I can easily store all my photos all in one place so I can easily find them. You can tag each individual picture so that you can easily find them. I like how Pixa is compatible with a lot of file formats. You can even save things such as photoshop files and illustrator files.

**What do you dislike about Pixa?**

I do not like the extensions that Pixa has for safari and chrome. I do not think that these work very well. A lot of the time I can not find the photo I am looking for when i am using the extensions. The auto tagging seems like a great feature but it has some bugs to work out. Some times the photo does not get tagged the way I want it to so it is hard to find and I have to go back in and edit the tag.

**Recommendations to others considering Pixa:**

I would recommend anyone to try Pixa if they are looking for something to help with photo organization.

**What problems is Pixa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pixa for photo storage and organization.

  ### 4. Good idea vs bad execution and maintenance

**What do you like best about Pixa?**

I’ve had this app for a few years. Excellent concept in theory but it’s not actually the reliable tool it promises to be. It's fast and consumes almost zero RAM.

**What do you dislike about Pixa?**

If it’s not crashing or closing, it’s frozen. Thumbnails do not show up, and live folders never seem to update (or the app doens’t render them). It seems the only guaranteed way to get this to work 100% is to import actual copies of the files to the app, but that just doubles the disc usage: totally defeating the purpose of wanting a bird’s eye view of what you have in your library.
The feature lists says it supports SVG but I have, so far, been unable to get Pixa to importa a single SVG file. The issue I’m encountering has been complained about going back as far as 2012 but ShinyFrog seems to always blame a bug in the Apple Sandbox feature. I have other similar apps that do import SVG without any problems so I suspect there is something else going on. I don’t think there’s been an update in a while so it’s just not keeping up with the Mac OS updates. Disappointed.

The Project, Folder, Live Folder stuff is not very intuitive. You put projects inside of folders but not folders inside of projects? That seems exactly backwards to me.

**What problems is Pixa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none

  ### 5. visual references

**What do you like best about Pixa?**

It's the best way to organize images as visual references.

**What do you dislike about Pixa?**

I don't have anything bad to say about it, it just solved my organizing images problem.

**What problems is Pixa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had a problem that I couldn't find a good way to organize the images that I have on my computer as visual references, and Pixa solved this for me.
