What I like best about Pitch Protocol is that it makes fundraising feel less like shouting into the void. I was able to submit Whetstone once, provide the relevant context and diligence materials, and reach investors without researching and cold-emailing every firm individually. The main downside for me is the lack of visibility after submitting. It can be hard to tell where things stand, who has reviewed the pitch, or what the next step might be, so the waiting period can feel uncertain. The biggest benefit for me is that Pitch Protocol replaces a lot of the repetitive work involved in fundraising. Instead of constantly updating decks, PDFs, and spreadsheets, everything is organized in a structured format that can be verified and shared with investors more efficiently. I also like that it's AI-native. It integrates into the tools I'm already using, which makes submitting and updating fundraising information much faster than traditional methods. The biggest challenge was adjusting to a structured and AI-first fundraising workflow since it's different from the traditional process. I'd also like to see more analytics around how submissions are performing and additional customization for profiles and investor workflows. I appreciate Pitch Protocol's guarantee that you get to meet with at least one VC firm on their platform. It's really helpful because I can get in front of at least one person who can invest in my company; otherwise, I'd just be shooting in the dark. I find Pitch Protocol to be a great tool for identifying AI native founders. It's been a game changer for our VC fund by helping us do some preliminary due diligence before meeting with the founders, which allows me to sift through and prioritize the startups that come through my pipeline. I think it's great for founders too, as they can focus more on building their products rather than creating pitch decks. Founders can use MCP connector and easily apply to various VCs in the Pitch Protocol network. On the VC side I can also connect to Claude via the Pitch Protocol MCP and use Claude to pull up information within Pitch Protocol and prep for meetings.
