PingPing Reviews & Product Details

PingPing is a website uptime and SSL certificate monitoring solution that helps developers, agencies, and small business teams detect website outages and certificate issues through automated checks and real-time notifications. It checks websites every 30 seconds on all plans, starting at EUR 6 per month. The platform falls within the website monitoring and infrastructure alerting category, serving users who need to track the availability of websites, web applications, and online services. PingPing performs HTTP and HTTPS checks from multiple server locations around the world at 30-second intervals, identifying downtime faster than tools that operate on standard five-minute check cycles. Unlike most monitoring tools, which reserve 30-second intervals for their most expensive tiers, PingPing includes the same check frequency on every plan. When an outage is detected and confirmed from multiple locations, the system sends notifications through the user's preferred channels. PingPing is designed for freelance web developers managing client sites, digital agencies overseeing portfolios of websites, SaaS teams monitoring production applications, and e-commerce operators who depend on continuous site availability. The tool addresses a common gap in smaller organizations where dedicated infrastructure teams are not available and site owners need a straightforward way to know when something breaks. Core capabilities include: - Uptime monitoring with 30-second check intervals from multiple global locations, on every plan, providing faster outage detection than the five-minute cycle used by many monitoring tools. - SSL certificate tracking that identifies upcoming expirations and configuration problems before they result in browser security warnings that block visitor access. - Multi-channel alerting through email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, and webhooks, allowing teams to receive notifications within their existing communication workflows. - Multi-language hosted status pages served on the customer's own custom domain, giving end users a public-facing way to check system status independently during incidents. - Unlimited team members on every plan, with no per-seat pricing. - A full REST API for creating and managing monitors programmatically, suited to agencies and platforms provisioning monitoring at scale. - A setup process that requires only a URL and notification preferences, with no agent installation or server-side configuration involved. PingPing operates as a cloud-hosted service with no software to install locally. Monitoring data, uptime history, and incident logs are accessible through a web-based dashboard. Every plan includes the complete feature set; plans differ only in the number of websites monitored: Starter at EUR 6/month for 5 websites, Growth at EUR 30/month for 25 websites, and Scale at EUR 90/month for 100 websites. A 14-day free trial is available and requires no credit card. Typical use cases include monitoring production SaaS applications, tracking availability across client website portfolios with status pages on each client's own domain, verifying SSL certificate status for multiple domains, and providing status page transparency during service disruptions. The tool is suited to individuals and teams who require focused uptime monitoring without the complexity of full-stack infrastructure observability platforms.
