PicMonkey Reviews & Product Details

A simple, easy to approach photo editor and design software that's good for beginners as well. The fact that I can do it from the browser is just the cherry on top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recognize that PicMonkey needs to make money but bringing out only a 7 day free trial for the free tier made me lose interest. I would have gladly taken a freemium subscription with ads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to use to edit photos or design flyers quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The cost is prohibitive but it is cheaper than canva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PicMonkey should add more free fonts and templates. More advanced features should be added for a more smooth and hassle free editing experience for Profesional creators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy this site is to create content for Social Media Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Changing the background is difficult to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, I am in no way an editor and I can make photos look professional so thats saying something Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Price keeps going up, some of the filters are just weird like I wish they had "suggested" or something Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using PicMonkey for a long time, the majority of which as a paid user so I could access all they offer. I especially enjoyed the feel of the program - like PhotoShop-Lite - and how it enabled me to (to a degree) edit actual photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I finally stopped my membership because I realized that I was using Canva more than PicMonkey, though now that I look back at PicMonkey, it seems like they got the hint and offer what Canva does in terms of editing tools and add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the editing software and the modes to express creativity in the art you are creating. I use it for editing pictures, making youtube thumbnails, and video editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is not much that I dislike. The ads can get annoying if you don't have Pro, which I don't have. Sometimes there are glitches that are hopefully fixed in future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Picmonkey is entirely based on drag and drop design creation features, making it a handy tool even for marketers and non-designers. And having the ability to remove the background with just a click is a time-saving and helpful feature of this software. Other than that, it has entailed artificial intelligence for an enhanced photo editing experience, and that's simply awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Though it allows sharing the design with others through the link, it is only possible for them to view and not contribute. I find its limitations in terms of real-time sharing and collaboration among other team members, which would help us finalize the design in a more creative and involving way being in a team. I hope they will onboard real-time collaboration and design auditing features soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to use Picmonkey religiously at the beginning of my art/photography career, for user-friendly photoshop type features, and professional looking photoediting. People had no idea I was not using the typical industry softwares! The more time you spend using it the more you are able to figure out how to get advanced jobs done through their different features. The reason I stopped using Picmonkey was it's only downfall- the price. I had used them for years, and as they gained more popularity and features, the free options for editing drastically narrowed. You now pay for all helpful features, as well as to store any work in "the hub". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lots of options to create and design marketing material or any other item. I made Business cards, flyers, and all my social media advertisements through there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

hmmm... not much to dislike but if anything, maybe more clipart? Everything else runs smoothly. Oh! Maybe adding a company option where it can have more users per membership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
