Specifically, visualisation options are a bit limited, which forces an end user to query the data myself when I need to build charts or visualisations which aren't available in Piano. I think one of the biggest challenges remains market awareness (BENELUX). From a business perspective, many decision-makers are still less familiar with Piano compared to larger analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. As a result, organisations may not always consider Piano in their initial evaluation process, despite the platform's strengths in analytics, privacy, and data governance. One of the biggest challenges for me is discoverability. Some KPIs, properties, or custom metrics can be difficult to find, especially in Data Query. In many cases, you need to know and enter the exact name to locate them. Features like stronger search capabilities or autocomplete would make navigation much easier.

I would also like to see a more user-friendly way to access and analyze tracking links. Currently, users often have to rely on Data Query and know exactly what they are looking for. A dedicated area for tracking links with simplified reporting would be especially helpful for occasional users, such as marketing colleagues who only use Piano for campaign analysis.

Another area for improvement is documentation. In environments with many custom KPIs and properties, understanding the underlying logic can be challenging, especially in long-standing implementations. Optional documentation requirements or built-in documentation fields for custom metrics and properties would greatly improve transparency and maintainability.
