## PhotoModeler Reviews
  ### 1. New experience to photomodeler

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham H. | PLM Analyst, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2024

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

Photomodeler has a great potential for turning pictures into accurate 3D models which saves time to start from the scratch.
The ui is old school and user friendly without any additional mess.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

The major draw back i have noticed is that the photo/image needs to be high quality and its accuracy its depends on it.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of turning images into 3D models which saves time, and also reduces the need for expensive equipments

  ### 2. 3D Modelling Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha G. | Interior Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2024

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

Photomodeller create 3D model from images which saves time and cost on measurements and scanning. It enhances design accuracy and provides efficiency of design by converting into digital models for better visualisation.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

It is difficult to create large or complex objects. It is time consuming when it comes to proper alignment and calibrating photos for better output.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to create 3D models from reference photos which ultimately saves from larger expense and from manual work. Quick, accurate and detailed models can be created in no time.

  ### 3. An Amazing Tool for Photogrammetry

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eashan G. | Quality analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2023

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

I like the ease of use and the accuracy of the measurements that Photomodeler provides. The software is intuitive and has a simple, straightforward user interface. It is also great for creating 3D models quickly and accurately. Additionally, Photomodeler offers a range of features, such as the ability to add textures and annotations to models, which makes it a great tool for creating detailed models.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

One of the most disliked aspects of Photomodeler is the steep learning curve. The software is complex and can require a significant amount of time to learn how to use it effectively. Additionally, the cost of the software is relatively high compared to other photogrammetry solutions.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Photomodeler solves the problem of creating 3D models from photographs by using photogrammetry, a technique that automatically reconstructs 3D models from photographs. This can be beneficial for those who need to create accurate, detailed 3D models quickly and easily. Photomodeler can also be used to create texture maps, which are used in computer graphics and animation.

  ### 4. Intuitive Photogrammetry Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reema D. | Associate Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

Photomodeler has taken a very complex modeling problem and solved it. Just by taking a number of photos of an object from different angles, you can synthesize a virtual model and render it for workplace applications. The interface has been simplified to the point where even nontech wizards can use the software. Their team did a great job training my colleagues and me on how to use the product as well. Unlike some photo modelers, photomodeler automatically generated floors, walls, or roofs without being photographed. And after developing the model, we were able to texture, measure, and detail them for rendering, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

There are a lot of options, so it can be overwhelming when first opening the product. Like Photoshop, there is a lot of ways to do what you want it to, so just figuring out how to edit and adjust your model can be a bit intense the first few times. However, again, their training team is pretty great with working with you.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, CAD modeling designs took a lot longer, as we had to build them from scratch. Now it's much faster for my team to simply photograph and input locations before completing builds.

  ### 5. Great tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia K. | Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

It's really great thing to get measurements from any of your photo

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

Free tool has limited features whereas paid tool works better

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping usto save time which was taking a day or 2 to get site Meassuments done manually

  ### 6. Accurately measure the distance/size in the phot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitesh T. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2023

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

So, a photomodeler is software that helps us extract the object's correct dimensions from the photo itself.
It is advantageous when it comes to making 2D and 3D replicas.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

I absolutely loved the software, it was beneficial for me while working in CAD software.
So far I haven't encountered any problems with the software.
I will mention any if found.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Photomodeler is solving one of the biggest problems for designers and architects it helps them to extract exact dimensions from the photo,
which can be later used to design desired item,

As a mechanical engineer, this tool helped me to get measurements from photos received from my client. Saves up my time visiting sites.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

It won't work if the photo is not of good quality.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software saves up time to take real-time measurements.

  ### 8. Created 3d objects from photos for CNC router.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about PhotoModeler?**

Able to take photos from multiple devices. I also want to start messing around with it with drone photos as soon as the weather gets better.

**What do you dislike about PhotoModeler?**

I haven't found any huge issues yet. Hopefully will have some fun with the drone.

**What problems is PhotoModeler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to create 3d models without a laser scanner has been the biggest help for me so far.
