Peppy (the birthday bot) Reviews & Product Details

Peppy is an employee engagement and recognition tool for Google Chat that helps teams celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries automatically. It is designed for HR professionals, team leaders, and business owners who want to build a stronger workplace culture without adding to their administrative workload. By integrating directly with Google Chat, Peppy ensures that celebrations happen where team communication is already taking place. Peppy works by identifying team members’ special days and posting timely, personalised celebration messages to a designated Google Chat space. This helps teams acknowledge important milestones, strengthen relationships, and foster a sense of belonging — especially in remote and hybrid work environments. The tool is well-suited for small to medium-sized businesses that want to improve employee morale and retention through consistent recognition. Key features include: • Automated celebrations: Posts birthdays and work anniversaries to Google Chat without manual input. • Seamless integration: Works natively within Google Chat for quick setup. • Timezone-aware scheduling: Ensures celebrations are posted at the right time for your team. • Fair usage model: Free for teams with fewer than 10 members. By taking care of the small but meaningful gestures, Peppy helps organisations maintain consistent recognition across distributed teams. HR managers and business owners can be confident that no milestone is overlooked, while employees feel valued and connected. Peppy operates on a usage-based pricing model, starting free for small teams and offering a 30-day free trial for larger teams. This makes it accessible for growing companies while providing scalability as recognition needs increase.
