We had three work requests for web designs and all three were a miserable failure in output. Had to work with the account team and they had changed the designers twice over and still the quality of work was terrible. The amount of time I had to spend telling them why it was terrible and how to improve was beyond frustrating. 2. The experience of the designers felt like they were junior level and were in school or something. 3. Not great at following directions and not great at applying technical or critical thinking. When asked them to read an article or background before proceeding, they simply did not incorporate what I was referring to. 4. The timezone and the "cut-off time" were all new to me. If you did not apply revisions to the work, then the team won't tackle the tasks until the next business day. 5. Over promise, under deliver. The account manager spoke to me and advised me that they are our best champions, they would follow up a few times to check but the consistency of the designers again was very questionable and terrible. **Recommendations to others considering Penji:** Penji appears to be cost-efficient for the services but what you are getting is a design service that will not spend more than 45-2 hours a day on your tasks and they are not fantastic at following directions or understanding complex design flow. Additionally, when asked to apply critical thinking, they do not demonstrate. I would not recommend this service. One interesting thing about Penji's model is that the same designer may or may not complete revisions.
