Most PDF programs work like this: Document → Print to PDF → Save PDF immediately. That means every print job becomes its own separate PDF file, so if you have 10 reports you end up with 10 PDFs that you first need to save individually to drive and then have to merge later.

I really like the ease of installation of PDFCreator Server. Downloading the installation package, paying for the license, and installing it is super easy. The online activation doesn't work very well, as it only extends for 1 week. For example, we purchase the license annually, and before we had to do the online activation every week. In latest stable version some of the things are very helpful such as automatically saving, renaming, converting, and processing PDF with less manual effort. I used this feature to Automatically name PDFs using project, sheet number and sheet name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The availability of multiple virtual printers with individual profiles is a great relief. Through the actions stored in the profiles, we can largely automate PDF creation and output it in a uniform format. The user tokens help us assign defined file names and also pre-fill email recipients, subject, and text directly. This saves us a lot of repetitive writing work.
