## Pckgr for Intune Reviews
 ### 1. Pckgr Makes Intune Packaging Fast, Predictable, and Easy to Trust

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel P. | Cyber Security Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

I really like that Pckgr takes the pain out of packaging for Intune. It handles the messy, repetitive work, detecting installers, building the package, and generating the Intune‑ready output, without me having to script everything manually. The workflow feels clean and predictable, and it saves a noticeable amount of time when dealing with apps that would normally require custom packaging. It strikes a good balance between automation and control, which makes it easy to trust in day‑to‑day use.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

I wouldn’t say there’s anything fundamentally wrong with Pckgr, but a few areas still feel like they need refinement. Some installers don’t get detected cleanly, which means I occasionally have to intervene manually when I expected full automation. The UI can also feel a bit rigid at times, especially when you want to adjust advanced packaging options. None of this is a deal‑breaker, but these small friction points keep it from being a perfect, fully hands‑off solution.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pckgr solves the repetitive, time‑consuming parts of preparing applications for Intune. Instead of manually building detection rules, packaging installers, or troubleshooting odd behaviours between different app types, the tool automates most of that workflow. It reduces the amount of custom scripting I need to maintain and cuts down on errors that usually come from doing everything by hand. The main benefit is speed and consistency: apps get packaged the same way every time, and I can focus on deployment strategy rather than wrestling with packaging details.

 ### 2. Large app kibrary and easy Intune integration that saves time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikkel B. | Cloud Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

We enjoy not having to package apps for Intune ourselves, and that has saved us a lot of time. The app library for deployment and updates is large, and it’s been good enough for our customer base as an MSP.

Deployment and update notifications are optional, and we’ve enabled a few so we know when certain apps have been updated.

I also really like that SnagIT is included in the library, since it’s a tool we use a lot.

The UI is easy to navigate, and the “request app” feature works as expected. They review the request and either add it to the library, or let you know if the app is too complex to include.

The Intune integration is straightforward to deploy with just a few clicks, and their support has been responsive so far.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

So far, there’s really nothing we dislike, except that we can’t work with Entra ID groups in the same way PMPC can. Right now, we have to manually go into the app and add the group in order to deploy the app, but its a minor thing comparing to package the apps ourselves.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a big help that we don’t have to package apps ourselves or keep them updated, which can be very time-consuming for a small business. Also, if a customer wants an app, it only takes a few minutes to deploy, and the app is deployed very quickly.

The price for Pckgr is nothing compared to the time we used before.

**Official Response:**

> Hi Mikkel, thanks so much for taking the time to leave this review - your feedback went straight into the pipeline and you can now assign Entra ID groups for newly deployed applications directly in Pckgr. Set groups once and they are reapplied automatically with each update. We are also working on two-way sync. Keep your eyes peeled..

 ### 3. Pckgr for Intune Makes My Work Life Seamless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaunn R. | I.T Security Administrator, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

Pckr has been a solid tool for me. It was easy to set up, runs smoothly without slowing things down, and takes the pain out of managing updates. It saves time, keeps systems consistent, and just works quietly in the background.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

One thing about long documentation is that it can feel overwhelming, while thoroughness is useful, having to sift through pages of detail slows down troubleshooting and makes it harder to quickly find the exact steps or answers you need.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pckgr for Intune takes a lot of the headache out of packaging and deploying apps. It automates much of the process, helps keep devices consistent, and makes updates straightforward. As a result, I can roll out apps faster, run into fewer errors, and spend less time on day-to-day admin work.

 ### 4. Intune PCKGR Streamlined App Updates and Saved Us Tons of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek V. | Desktop Support, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

Ever since switching to to Intune PCKGR our application update processes have been completely streamlined. Complete time saver. It has freed me up to do other things knowing that our applications are being pushed out with the latest versions. The UI is very clean and easy to learn and use. We are on the Business plan and the price is perfect at only $1499 a year.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

The only negative I have is sometimes with custom apps, it will run its tests and say the app is ready to go but it will fail when pushed via Intune.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of me having to manually update all our required applications. It is super easy to find and deploy applications and the UI and website performance is always great.

 ### 5. Effortless App Installs and Updates with an Ever-Growing Library

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman K. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

It perfectly automates the process of installing and updating applications, which saves our team a lot of manual overhead. I also really appreciate that the product doesn't stand still - it is constantly expanding its application library and regularly improving its features.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

Sometimes there are minor issues where not all applications deploy perfectly or clear out from MDE (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) recommendations right away. However, the developers are very proactive and continuously implement new solutions to address these edge cases.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminates the need to manually package and update apps to satisfy MDE security requirements. Pckgr automates this entire workflow. The support team was also great at helping us resolve specific MDE issues, allowing us to maintain a secure environment with minimal effort.

 ### 6. Efficiency Boost with Pre-Built Packages

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon G. | Director of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

As an IT Department of one, Pckgr for Intune is a total no-brainer for me. It eliminates the packaging loop entirely with right silent switches, prebuilt detection rules, and packages that are ready to deploy. Every app I don't manually package is time back in my day. Pckgr takes away the hassle of hunting down silent switches, wrestling with IntuneWinAppUtil, and getting detection rules wrong. Pre-built, ready-to-deploy packages with correct silent switches and detection rules are already done, so I can open it, grab the package, and move on. I like that there's no rework, no guesswork, and I trust the deployment is going to work the first time. It just works, and the tool pays for itself in the first week. Plus, the setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

I wish Pckgr for Intune had a larger app catalog because the more packages available, the less I have to deal with IntuneWinAppUtil. Also, having automatic update notifications when a new version of a packaged app or driver package is available would be huge for staying current without manual monitoring.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pckgr for Intune eliminates the packaging loop, saving me time with pre-built packages. It solves issues with silent switches and detection rules, ensuring smooth deployments without rework or guesswork. It's a lifesaver for an IT department of one.

 ### 7. Pckgr Automates App Updates and Strengthens Windows Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

In the case of Intune alone, updating distributed apps often requires placing the latest installer back on the Intune side, but by using Pckgr, most apps can be automatically updated, which is very helpful in improving information security on Windows machines.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

If I had to say, it would be nice if the items on the Pckgr side, which are currently separated for the initial zero-touch provisioning and for automatic updates from the second time onward, could be consolidated into one.

It would be easier to understand if it were in a format where you could choose from options like:

- Forced installation when joining Entra ID, with automatic updates thereafter
- Initial installation is optional for the user, but once installed, updates are automatic

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m really grateful that I no longer have to monitor the release of the latest versions of the apps we distribute on Windows.

 ### 8. Easy app-management with Pckgr - With some work required in the AV space

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Till S. | IT-Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

With Pckgr, we save a lot of time, as we do not have to package many default applications ourselves, and we can focus on more important management tasks.

The UI is simple to use and allows any member of our team to easily add and manage new apps in our Intune catalog.

The support team is quick to respond, and they try their best to quickly resolve any issues with apps.
With the switch to the private repository, issues went down, as there is less dependency on third-party packages in Winget.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

With the comfort of Pckgr, you lose some initiative.
If users require the latest update for a tool, you might be out of luck, as Pckgr needs some time to update the app in their system.

The app catalog, while growing, is focused on more general-purpose apps.
Apps for the AV-Industry, that have hundreds of individual (often poorly coded) software, are often missing in Pckgr.
As those tools receive updates more often, and the newest version is often required to support the latest hardware, there can be an issue with the time between the developer's update release and the update being in Pckgr.

However! You can easily request new apps to be added to Pckgr, and the Pckgr team does its best to keep all Apps updated. So I do not really hold it against them.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can shift our focus from updating the more widely known apps and focus more on fixing issues or optimizing setup and workflows.

By shifting app management mostly to Pckgr, we do not have to worry so much about app updates, as those are handled by Pckgr. Therefore, our systems are more secure.

**Official Response from Thomas Mahony:**

> Thanks for the detailed and thoughtful review. We’re really glad to hear Pckgr is helping your team save time, simplify app management, and reduce the burden of keeping common applications updated.

We also appreciate the honest feedback around specialist and industry-specific applications. Some software vendors move quickly, and we understand that there are cases where having the latest version available sooner can make a real difference.

We do aim to have updates pushed out within one business day of release wherever possible, and we’ll keep improving the request and update process so Pckgr can cover more of these scenarios over time.

Thanks again for the feedback. It genuinely helps us understand where Pckgr is working well and where we can do better.

 ### 9. Simple, Affordable App Provisioning with Great Customisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver K. | Infrastructure & Security Engineer Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

It makes it much easier to provision a large library of applications and keep everything up to date. It also provides a wide range of customisation options for each application.

Integration with Intune is straightforward, and the tool itself feels simple, intuitive, and easy to use. Pckgr is also very affordable.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

It would be good to detect installs of applications on users' devices, not currently published via Pckgr, so that it can be captured and updated centrally.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pckgr is helping us make sure that applications are kept up to date and thus bugs & vulnerabilities are patched. It's also helping us save engineering time by pre-packaging applications.

**Official Response:**

> Oliver, thankyou so much for your review. We really want to remain affordable and easy to use - so your feedback also helps us see where we can make some changes to enhance the platform experience, it's in the pipeline!

 ### 10. Easy Automatic Updates That Simplify App Deployment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiri B. | IT Infrastructure Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

I like how easy and convenient the automatic app updates are. Pckgr simplifies app deployment and reduces the time it takes significantly.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

While Pckgr offers an extensive application library, sometimes there’s still an app missing.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It primarily helps us manage automatic app updates, which is important for maintaining a secure environment for our users. We deploy the majority of our apps as available to install through the Company Portal, and right now Intune doesn’t handle automatic updates for this deployment type very well. Pckgr makes this process really easy for us.

 ### 11. Streamlined App Deployment and Patching with Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan M. | Entrepreneur

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

I appreciate the ease of use with Pckgr for Intune, as it has greatly reduced the time spent on app deployment and patching for our clients in Microsoft 365 and Intune. It's incredibly straightforward to find and deploy the necessary applications. Pckgr for Intune gives us confidence that the app stack will remain updated, and I love that it allows us to lean into self-service, thus minimizing ticket requests. Their incredible support is another plus, along with a roadmap filled with exciting tools and features ahead.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

No complaints!

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pckgr for Intune saves a lot of time by simplifying app deployment and patching. It's easy to use, keeps our app stack updated and secure, and encourages self-service, reducing support tickets. Most importantly, it's empowered us to improve our client's Essential 8 maturity level across the board.

 ### 12. Effortless Software Packaging with Pckgr for Intune

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

I love how Pckgr for Intune allows us to quickly roll out standard software packages and updates for our clients. It excels at what it's designed to do. Handling custom packages is far easier than with the default Microsoft tooling, which is crucial for our small team as it serves as a force multiplier. I like its simplicity; it focuses on a few tasks and performs them well, removing the need for constant supervision. The initial setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

A slightly more streamlined tenant join/onboard experience. Slightly improved custom apps (like allowing custom prerequisites). Centralized logging of installations and updates so we don’t have to go track it down in the machine or Intune.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pckgr for Intune for quickly rolling out software packages and updates. It simplifies packaging, solves consistency issues, and acts as a force multiplier for our small team, streamlining workflows beyond what Microsoft tools offer.

 ### 13. Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca S. | Creative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

 ### 14. Simple, Powerful Intune App Management with Effortless Automatic Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

The simplicity of the overall package and how it handles automatic updates of the majority of our core apps with customisation available for more power users. Getting someone on-boarded to updating core apps only takes a few minutes whereas previous we had to manually update apps in Intune. We've had Pckgr from pretty early on and we've seen it grow into big player within the Intune App Management space, with the features to match.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

It's pretty simple to use, so there aren't any real complaints.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatic app updates within Intune

 ### 15. Clear, straightforward, and easy to integrate into Intune – with strong support chat

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

Pre-packaged library and support chat. The integration into Intune is straightforward, and there is no fuss – everything is clear, well-structured, and easy to understand.

For the price or subscription per device, it's really very good.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

Some packages are not yet available in the library. Additionally, there is no ready-made AI that can process my own applications as a deployment.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updates of applications and the associated security vulnerabilities are reliably closed. Administrative tasks can be easily performed by multiple administrators, and updates no longer need to be installed manually.

 ### 16. Easy setup for automated software deployments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

It is so easy and quick to set up; it only took minutes before we were able to deploy the first software package.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

There isn’t really anything I dislike. Every now and then, you can tell it’s still a small team that’s growing quickly, but that hasn’t been a problem for me.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pckgr has helped us to automate sotware updates. It allows you to differentiate of software you want to deploy and software you only want to update.

**Official Response:**

> Thankyou so much for your review. Easy set up has always been a huge priority for us and while we are a small team (growing quickly like you said) we definitely do our best to give 100% support to all our customers as they need, so they are getting the most value out of the platform. We appreciate the understanding you've shown though, legends.

**What do you like best about Pckgr for Intune?**

The ease of use. Saves a lot of time. The automatic updates of packages.

**What do you dislike about Pckgr for Intune?**

Some packages can be added. But that can also be that this is because of the reputation of that product. So not really an Pckgr issue.

**What problems is Pckgr for Intune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Constantly keeping the many software packages up to date and do it on the same way.
