It’s convenient and fairly ubiquitous, so I can use it often. I mainly use it to send money to my family members, but I also use it for business dealings (for example, I pay my accountant using Venmo). It feels confidential, and there are no fees. I like how Venmo allows me to send money instantly, which is very convenient and eliminates the need to go to the ATM, especially since not all banks are in every state. I also enjoy the feature that lets me request money to set reminders for friends to pay equally for all events on a trip. This makes awkward money situations super easy, without needing to ask about splitting the bill or having in-depth conversations. Additionally, the initial setup of Venmo was extremely easy. Privacy concerns, I try to keep all of my payments private in the settings, but it's weird how your network is aware of what you are buying - whether it be that Pizza that violated your diet or something more nefarious like what was going on with Tyler Skaggs and the Angels. I wouldn't use it for large transfers - like if I was buying a house lol - but for small payments between friends, family - even strangers at a Garage sale, I like it. I like that Venmo is super simple and easy to use. It solved the extra steps that get in the way when I need to make a payment quickly, making it a lot easier to send money. I also enjoy using the feature where you can pay your friends and scan the QR code of the vendor, which makes it super easy to pay the right person.
