With paperless, there is no need to store many papers in the offices and thus desk space and other spaces will be freed up; minimal or no papers can get lost. What do you like best about Paperless?

The best aspect of Paperless for me was the built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature. In most apps, your scanned documents and photos would still be images – photos of text. Within Paperless you can mark certain parts of pages (such as emails, invoices or receipts) as covered-text and the software will try to directly extract that text, making it searchable and categorising the item appropriately. For example, if you decide that all of your incoming invoices should be indexed by a certain tax label, paperless learns that too and will start to apply automagic rules to new inflowing documents, doing your category selection for you. The more you use Paperless, the less manual work you have to do as it discovers your categorisation patterns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Paperless solving and how is that benefiting you?

Paperless is my lifeline. Previously, I had archived hundreds of scanned files in multiple locations throughout my computer.

Paperless fixes this by OCR-ing my scanned documents into searchable text: for every bit of data, I can now search it out in a snap by typing in a keyword (instead of searching through folders)

All the better since Paperless also suggests tags based on what I have read, and even brings back previously used tags automatically to help me sort documents. It assists me like a personal reminder of how I like to file.

Indeed, without Paperless, I would have wasted hours in front of my screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
