  ### 1. Cheap Basic Hosting, but Support Feels Outsourced Since the Buyout

**What do you like best about PANTHUR?**

It's cheap and we use it for very basic hosting, and good for domain registrations. Once you get support they are usually good at solving problems.

**What do you dislike about PANTHUR?**

They used to be an amazing company until they were bought out about 10 years ago, and now you can tell everything is outsourced. The support is no longer personal.

**What problems is PANTHUR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic hosting for low volume web traffic clients, we do most of our domain registrations with Panthur. They don't support all domain types, so for those we go elsewhere.

**What do you like best about PANTHUR?**

Unfortunately nothing.  After moving support offshore and no longer being able to talk with knowledgable Level 2 techs without going through stressful Level 1's reading from the knowledge base, I left them.

**What do you dislike about PANTHUR?**

The speed of the websites on servers slowed to a crawl.  The offshore support team only reads from the knowledge base, which I could already do.  No real advanced support.

**What problems is PANTHUR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They solved me knowing what is a good and not good service.  I tell my clients to stay away and that I moved all my clients away.  It is a good reason to make clients go with my hosting elsewhere.
