Slow and laggy interface with bugs that don't get fixed **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022 **What do you like best about Pandle?** - Everything is in one place and a 'single source of truth' for bookkeeping/accountant at The Accountancy Partnership which is the parent company of Pandle **What do you dislike about Pandle?** - The platform is often very slow (ie >30 seconds) to load despite fast (>200Mbps) internet connection - There are persistent bugs in common features (eg when matching payments, if a payment type updates the tax code field this triggers an error because it doesn't automatically cascade to the amount or tax columns.) - The automated feeds from bank accounts frequently fail and need to be manually re-established or have manual backfills - Despite some improvements, the interface is still not so intuitive (eg when creating a supplier invoice, there's a very duplicative screen of prior invoices, and once it's created you land back at customer invoices) - Bugs raised with support don't get actioned - In theory, there's tight integration with The Accountancy Partnership, but in practice, not so much; accountant uses it only infrequently (eg to update at year end) and even things like monthly TAP invoices have to be re-uploaded into Pandle **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything is in one place and a 'single source of truth' for bookkeeping/accountant at The Accountancy Partnership which is the parent company of Pandle ### 2. It also helps me manage my inventory better and avoid losses. **What do you dislike about Pandle?** Pandle's tax savings feature isn't fully optimized. Some conditions which helps save tax for small business owners in sustainability business are not available on Pandle. **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been bookkeeping for a long time using digital methods, but we would frequently experience issues in data management and migration year after year. However, Pandle being an on-cloud solution we are able to access our accounts without any hassle. ### 3. I have business in both UK and India, but I can only use Pandle for my UK tax planning. **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to move away from physical bookkeeping and move every thing to the cloud. Pandle was the perfect tool to achieve this. It also supports multi device login. So all the staff in our office can access the accounts simultaneously. ### 4. Simple design and free for small businesses which is nice. You can link bank accounts with paid features but I found that downloading my bank statements and uploading them is easiest. **What do you dislike about Pandle?** Can be a little confusing initially especially with invoices and showing who paid what. I run a small woodworking business and have people put 1/2 down on a project so it was a little tricky to navigate how to do that at first. **Recommendations to others considering Pandle:** Pay attention to the "tips" in the beginning. They're super helpful! **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is helping me organize my finances for my small woodworking business. It allows me to keep everything in one platform rather than using multiple different softwares or spreadsheets. ### 5. There is some automation with bank feeds and "bank Rules" that automatically categorize transactions for you. I have been very impressed with the support, which is very responsive. It has been very reliable over the four years I have used it. **What do you dislike about Pandle?** A third party provides Automatic bank feeds, and unfortunately, this does not include all banks. It would be good if this was expanded to include other payment platforms, like Go-Cardless. Custom import of transaction files could be better - e.g., filtering based on keywords. Fortunately, "Bank Rules" can be used to ignore unwanted lines. **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** I inherited accounts completed using spreadsheets. Pandle provided me with a simple online solution for keeping the accounts for a small charity. I began with the free version, which met most of my needs. I upgraded to the paid version to take advantage of automated feeds. I now download transaction files from the bank and some of our payment providers and import them into Pandle. Bookkeeping now only takes a few minutes each month. ### 6. There is autofeed from your bank straight there, **What do you dislike about Pandle?** In first when you look the website panel is with small font. Also that to access your bookkeeping feed you have to go through the bankfeed page and click the small icon, which i had to figure out on my own **Recommendations to others considering Pandle:** Definitely, it come handy **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** My bookkeeping is easily organised and takes the stress from me thinking of it as hard job to do ### 7. The current invoicing has a poor customization tool and I found this to be the most negative part of the application **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** I just needed a simple package that organized the small business tasks under on roof. ### 8. Another outstanding feature is that the operating system of the program generates an alert if errors are being made when loading data and has a good tool for generating reports. **What do you dislike about Pandle?** There is nothing that I dislike about this program, because although it is a relatively new tool has made improvements in very short time, so I do not doubt that it will continue to expand and in the future will be able to cover more features. **Recommendations to others considering Pandle:** Excellent accounting management tool, with a high performance and efficiency, in addition to a very affordable price I strongly recommend it. **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool I use to take the accounting cases that I handle as a professional service provider, because although I have a formal job also made professional fees that allow me to increase my monthly income, so this tool has been extremely useful to me to manage my client portfolio in the personal accounting firm. It allows me to work in a more organized way avoiding the accumulation of physical documents such as invoices or receipts, since through Pandle, digital processes, in addition to facilitating access to information at any time, I can establish planning strategies with my clients to process gradually but between the established times the fulfillment of tax payments. What has allowed them among other things to be up to date in the tax aspect, so they are pleased with the service provided and in turn I am grateful for the performance that has provided this program, facilitating the process of accounting procedures. ### 9. It has basic accounting features that allows us to manage our accounting practice. The support team is very fantastic when you already know the problem you want to channel. **What do you dislike about Pandle?** I have not come across any serious drawback, however, this software sometimes lags and data entry in the cloud system may take quite long. **Recommendations to others considering Pandle:** I highly recommend it to anybody else who would be interested in becoming an accountant and just wants to keep solid records. This will be the best software for you and your company. **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to generate sets of accounts quickly. This software has saved us so much time when doing the business accounting. The balance sheet and income statement completes automatically. The support team is great as every single problem we channel to them is always solved. ### 10. The ability to submit VAT returns within the software is also helpful. Having previously used other software on the market this is much easier to use. With a friendlier interface and excellent customer support if you do run into ay issues. The selection of reports available is excellent, profit and loss, balance sheet is all very easily accessed and can be customised to specific time periods very easily. This makes forecasting and planning for the future direction of your business very easy to do. Compared to other software on the market is extremely well priced, only £6 per month. But the free version also has excellent functionality as well for those looking to trial it out. **What do you dislike about Pandle?** The help and FAQs could be improved. This would mean you could better problem solve/troubleshoot problems yourself without having to reach out to the team for help with something. **Recommendations to others considering Pandle:** Very inexpensive and well rounded book keeping software. Excellent for small businesses looking for a low cost, easy to use program. **What problems is Pandle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simple, effective book keeping and expenses recording.
